The audiences couldn't believe the things he was doing with the violin - octaves, tenths, thirds in double stops, harmonics, up bow staccatos down bow staccatos,... everything which they had never heard before. Now, we sort of take it for granted but back then, only one violinist was doing this - Paganini.
Only a great human being like Svetlin Roussev, can achieve this wonderfull kind of musical velvet and sharpness in the same time. Meaning the Symphonic Orchestra in consequence, feels the Joy of sharing the Musical True and gives the best when there in front of them is not Only a great violonist but a real character !!

Those music lovers who think Nicolo Paganini is a crummy composer shou d listen to all five or six violin concerti. They all are great works, better than most piano concerti, melodically charming and delightful all of them.

One of the best performances of Paganini’s 2nd violin concerto. He just play the third movement so well!
I like how he played the main theme. Initially didn't expect that amount of aggression, it makes the overall tone sharp and snappy.
