Re: the Maybelline Age Rewind concealer: first thing I do is rip the sponge right off! Can't stand how unsanitary it is! Then I just twist up as much as I need onto a finger tip. No waste or mess that way either! :)
It is very sanitary because the sponge is anti-microbial. Maybelline put a lot into developing it and they claim bacteria cannot grow on it. I have to say I have never smelled or seen anything weird on this sponge. It always seems clean to me, even after many uses.
I WANT that palette. Unfortunately when it came out I wasn't in to wearing makeup that often. To be honest I never glanced at Elf's products. I hope I can find it in store. There's one color that's very close in shade to one I'm about to run out of in a LG palette. But I just wouldn't be buying it for that shade alone. I'm digging all of them. You were able to put that eye look together so fast. Love that!! Great video...
Kohl's has that Elf Rose Gold eye palette on sale right now for half off, making it only $5! I'm seriously considering getting it because of how great your eye look turned out!
The Maybelline Age Rewind concealer has an anti-microbial sponge, so it is hygienic. I guess you could wash the sponge if you wanted, but there's no reason. The maybelline site says you can wipe off the excess concealer onto a tissue, but I've never really felt a need to do that. I love it and find it applies concealer better than any other method. The only thing I don't like about this concealer is that it runs out quickIy, so I have to buy it much more frequently than any concealer I've ever used.
HA HA HA HA - "I don't know what that smells like, but it doesn't smell very good". Also - I still have that foundation, but will be replacing it. It really sinks in to those fine lines. Fun video.

I use the Elf Hydrating Camo concealer (you only need a little bit to get good coverage). Then, I don't set it with powder because my undereyes can get to be crepey looking even with the tiniest bit of my lightest powder (No 7 Lift and Luminate pressed powder, silver compact) no matter what concealer I use. Then, I take my sponge, spray a bit of setting spray on it, then dab it over the concealer. It works for me - I hope this helps! ~Anastacia in Cleveland

I used to use that L’Oréal foundation all the time but now I’ve figured out how to control my oily skin with skincare! Now I use Missha BB cream almost exclusively haha
I still love the age rewind concealer layered over the believe beauty dark circle corrector. The formula is so good (even if the sponge needs a good toss)
I still use that Elf cream bronzer palette very happily. (I never use a matte foundation.) I think it’s probably my favorite Elf product and works just as well as the high priced cream bronzers I’ve tried. I actually much prefer that old Elf eyeshadow formula to the one used in the newer little quads. On me they had better lasting power and I really value that.
That foundation is still my favorite foundation of all time. My skin looks like porcelain when I wear it and I always get complimented on my skin. I have very oily skin so it's great for me, plus I find that it doesn't settle into any fine lines or pores and it lasts ALL DAY!! The ONLY con is the shade range. The only time I can wear it is if I have self tanner on or in the Summer when I have a little color, which is like never!!
What a great video idea! I love the Elf eyeshadow palettes, as I wear mostly matte shadows, and they have their Mad for Matte palettes. I also always have a tube of the Lash Sensational as my tried and true product! I also love the lip lacquers. I hope you are getting settled in your new home, and feeling well!❤️❤️

I need to get out my old Elf palettes and the lip lacquers. If I still love the shades I’ll get new ones. This look is gorgeous!!! I loved that same primer and mascara together. It’s not cruelty free so I’m not going to buy it again. I wish I could, I really miss that combo. Great video idea!

I take off the little spongy thing on the age rewind concealer and dot it on with my finger. I wish the would change the packaging too!

I also love the age rewind concealer, I pull the cushion sponge off, then either apply with my finger or concealer brush. The sponge comes right off.

How do mascura primers work? Is the primer supposed to set & dry before I put on mascura or do I put the mascura on the wet primer?
