      Is your saddle lower with the new one?

    • @kaizenmobility
      @kaizenmobility ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@LaurentMaloberti in practice with this different air shock absorber you can decide based on the customizable pressure with a small pump and pressure gauge, adjust the height of the seat. the more pressure you press, the higher the seat will be from the ground, but you will have harder, almost blocked cushioning, and vice versa. I had padded the original saddle making it already higher and with less pressure the cushioning is nice and soft like floating on the clouds 😀

      Hi,do you have the 190mm or the 220mm shock on your bike? Still low with 180Psi

    • @kaizenmobility

    Measured from hole to hole and is 190mm but still looks short. Have not checked the pressure on it yet as didn't want to do that until I installed it but will install at weekend and if it doest look right I will send it back

      May you need a 200mm version? Does bolt to bolt on orginal shock measure 7.75 inches (200mm) or 7.5 inches (190mm)

    i am a new e biker having just taken delivery of my m20. my thoughts are of lowering the seat hieght by replacing the rear shock with smaller length one [ say 160 instead of 205 .] would this alter the geometry of the bike to much ? thanks for the videos they are a great informal education boost especially for us newbies.

      Mine come with 240mm shock, my plan is to go for a 265mm coil shock from dnm with a 20x3 tire on the back to not mess with the geometry too much. I would gain a bit of travel as the strok on the original 24 is just 3 cm, while you have7,6 cm on dnm.

    Finely how add new fork??? You replace all?? 😮

  • @Zuckerpuppekopf
    @Zuckerpuppekopf 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Replacing the shocks is a waste of time since the primary thing that makes the M20 uncomfortable to ride is the rock hard seat. Not only is the seat hard, it's also the wrong shape for pedaling, as you can see in the video: it's wide in the anterior which brushes hard on your inner thighs as you ride. It's basically unrideable after 20 miles or so. I completely changed the ride, and length of time it could be sat on, just by throwing a gel foam bike cushion on the seat, while elevating it with hard foam cut to the shape of a real bicycle seat. And that's all one needs: a different seat. Since the seat is also too low for anyone over about 5 ft 2, adding the proper shaping and padding to the seat also helped the pedaling geometry, making riding much more efficient as well as tolerable over 20 miles.

    • @BRichSolution
      @BRichSolution  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree and I upgraded the seat was big difference and made the seat taller see video
      th-cam.com/video/wjo4I_F5AQI/w-d-xo.html The front fork made difference as the oil filled shocks are poor damping and recoil too much
