Thank you, I enjoyed this. :) Glad you say that altars and offerings can be very simple. I tend to hesitate having an altar because I often get into this mental space of it having to be so fancy and perfect, and it just ends up feeling exhausting.
This was very insightful and wise in a much needed area for me and likely a lot of us.. thank you for your offerings, really felt an ease with your style/ approach and simplicity around it. Can feel overwhelming to dive or go up as i like to say 🌚
If you are talking about these 'active' sort of meditations. Where you can visit shadows and wounds, (with or without the help of a deity) i guess just visiting old pain. Isn't that kind of hypnosis? I do know from personal experience that hypnosis and guided meditation aren't that different.
The first person I heard talking about deity work was Reacine, I Am trying to figure these things out. If it would be something for me and on what point it would be helpfull. The conversation of you 2 made me dig some deeper in Mary magdelene. I was so confused, i didnt understand what she got to do with anything of this. Another video made that quite clear! So i do feel interested in reading the recommended book. The red one.
There is just this big 'but'. I feel quite clueless about how.... How do you know there is a deity? Do you feel an energy precense? Like there is an entity? Is it the imagination? Is it the intuition voice in your head?? Are there signs? Like the synchronisities the universe gives you to pay attention or give you just a nodge. What kind of picture can i make myself about deity work? Because, if Mother Mary (magdalene) is the ALL LOVING mother, then she might be the only one who can help me heal from growing up a loveless life so far.
