  • Grab something to drink, get comfortable, and settle in for this amazing conversation with Raecine!
➡️ Don't forget, my 90-day shadow work program (Reclaiming Eve) begins at the end of January 2024, and we're focusing on a lot of the things that came up in this conversation (shame, being good enough, deconstructing and deconditioning, the sacred feminine, and working with your deities and guides.) I enjoyed and appreciated this beautiful conversation SO much, thank you! ❤ I’m in my 60’s and, after 40 years on a similar journey, thoroughly appreciate hearing younger women continuing to speak up about patriarchy, especially as it is embedded within most religions. Sending you both much love, Blessed Be. ❤ Would love to see this become a regular monthly chat between you both; each of you brings tremendous nuance and insight.

When you said about one of your core wounds was about being "crazy" - OMG same! Lol
This interview/discussion was so good to listen to

What a compelling conversation. I really enjoyed this! I’ve been connected with Raecine for awhile - but I’m new to you, Kate!
Loved hear you both sharing ideas around toxic religious experiences and the Sacred Feminine. 🙏♥️✨

Thank you for this important conversation. When you mentioned witch trials turning into psychiatry, I got chills. It wasn't until I was able to free myself from the re-traumatizing institutional violence of psychiatry that I started to heal and find my way back home to my body and soul. In treatment my main motivator was fear, just as in childhood, rendering healing impossible. It is actually quite disturbing that to this day there's a diagnostic category for hysteria in DSM-5/ICD-10. It's called conversion disorder or dissociative disorder, but essentially it's the same thing as during Salem days and prior. I have complex PTSD but there's no diagnostic label for it in DSM-5/ICD-10, hence I was diagnosed with "hysteria". ICD-11 does include C-PTSD but I'll never be able get my diagnosis corrected, since that would mean re-exposing myself to the system that I abhor. I try to see a silver lining by imagining that one day the ghost of Freud will send me an electric vibrator to scare my uterus back to where it belongs 😂.

Amazing video! I enjoy watching you both individually, but there's really something special about coming together for a conversation. I'd love to start working more with deity energies, but am still in the phase of stumbling around trying to figure out how to begin.

thank you so much for sharing this, what a wonderful & illuminating conversation. i really resonate with leaving behind organized religion (mine was catholicism that was forced upon me by my family growing up) and finding freedom & joy in creating your own spiritual path & perspectives ~ connecting with the divine feminine has been tremendously healing & validating for me as a practicing witch with a deep reverence for nature. also i just love raecine so much! i've learned so much from her since discovering her youtube channel a few months ago. looking forward to more deep conversations like this :) just subscribed to your channel!

Oh, ok, so now it all makes perfect sense! Now I get why I've been so drawn to "dark" deities lately: I'm in my "dark" period. Thank you both for a very insightful chat ❤!

    Ooh this was so interesting!
I never grew up with any religion so the whole dark and light is a strange idea to me. Deity are all the same to me, they come to me and when I'm interested in their "concept" I work with them. They just always happen to be dark I guess 😅 except Nyx, she's neutral as I experience her.
Satan is amazing, as a protector, he's wise and straightforward, honest, he's a friend and more. I think I mainly struggled with the masculine because I think women rule (Yeah that sounds dumb lol) but he wiped that all away and I now enjoy working with him as divine masculine.

Thank you for this video! I am thankfull this video showed up. Even though I dont understand or relate with everything you were talking about on this point of my life, there where some helpfull parts.
At this point in my journey I am trying to deal with a part of the guilt tripping and be or not be ashamed of being a woman. Certain phrases people, mostly man say. I wish I could somehow over come or re-own myself as a woman in this current life experience. If that makes sense somewhere. Anyhow, thank you for the video, I hope there will be more content like this.

If you haven't seen my videos recommending the book "On Our Best Behavior: The Price Women Pay to Be Good" you might really like it, I found it very healing on the shame and female experience fronts :)
