Being trained in an accelerator group to only put one issue in on one slide. The way you connect things is way more complicated and helps find better wordings. Thnaks!

For those of us in the health start-up space, these videos are relevant and thought-provoking. Rewriting the deck as I watch each one and I know that it is going to make a huge difference as we go for our first big raise post F&F and bootstrapping. Thank you!

Thanks Adam and thanks to all Dreamit team for these great videos. Of course "the problem" is the first & most important thing to start with if you have one shot with a 5 min pitch. And of course it's nearly impossible to evaluate the team based on some keywords on a slide. But the only variable which can change & evolve & pivot the product by monitoring & evaluating & challenging the problem and the market for it, is "the team". The wrong team ( I don't mean their skill set, I mean why they're doing this and their characters. And it's not possible to understand if they're the right team for the job by just looking 10 sec at a team slide) can always ruin a great product which is designed to solve the worst problem ever.

I love the dreamit videos. thank you for taking the time to make them.
I'm currently struggling with my startup. I think I have a unique product that is a hybrid of the physical world and streaming world but I end up in the muck and mire trying to explain to people just what it is I'm trying to do.
*I* understand what I'm doing, and *I* understand where this product needs to go, but selling that to investors has been nigh on impossible and the dejection is starting to take its toll. Sometimes I think I have a product that no investor wants.
In this case would you chin up and plow forward, or reassess the product and idea surrounding the startup?

I don't know but, I think this is the best Dreamit dose yet. Like it really is the biggest problem in pitching, not getting across what on earth you're solving! Thanks for the advise here and I totally agree, Team slide, why would you put it first before you've even got their attention.

Really informative and actionable nuggets of information presented, and the sum up at the end furthers solidifies the lessons. Really helpful; thank you. I can agree with the team slide at the end. You've presented the problem and now you show at the end that you have put together a team that can hit all aspects of the presented problem and execute the business strategy. I have also heard that investors are also investing in the person or team leading a startup, not just the startup itself, so portraying the team strengths is important. Just speculating, but diving into the team at the end may leave the investors with a feeling of connection.

Great video as always. How do you differentiate in your analysis between problems that you recognize exist today and those that people don't yet recognize they have? An example of the latter would be Uber and Lyft where smartphone penetration and GPS enabled their existence, but people did not necessarily know that pressing a button and entering a stranger's car is something they would frequently want to do? Thanks much
