This video is the best in terms of car photography quality. Musical with camera movement that takes you to the beautiful past, to the academy and grandmothers. What emotional moments. Resurrection and return after death. Thank you to the pups who made this beauty. There is no excuse for the living to let it die while they are able to revive it. Thank you, the owner of the channel, and I wish you and all nations a good life in this world and the hereafter. My words are praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.
Heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time. So many memories of oldtimers I hadn't seen since I was a child. And thanks for the haunting and appropriate music. It doesn't invade, it complements the visuals so well...

Old, rusty cars just fascinate me. I think i'm gonna buy me a occasion, park it behind the house and in about 40 years i'm gonna sit in it and fucking enjoy :P
The Auwauter Carlux VW Tour Bus in this video is almost complete in its restoration in Germany now! A good friend is doing it and he has all three existing examples in his hands!
Thanks for your comment. The Carlux was one of the most rare car on the Kaufdorf site and it is a chance that it got salvaged. I am following the restoration on facebook.
It's amazing to think that all these cars were arriving home one day for the first time, ready for their maiden voyage out for a family drive on their first run - brand new. Fresh out of the factory. Sad.
Ohh poor cars TT poor Plymouth Savoy at 10:22 ... I wish i could have just ONE of all those cars and have saved, restored and enjoyed it forever and never selling or abbandoning it... :(
I was a little surprised to see some American cars mixed in - late '40s Dodge, '55 Plymouth, '61 Cadillac, even a Studebaker. I know a woman from Germany named Isabella. Her father chose the name because of the Borgward Isabella, one of which is shown here.
an so einem Ort würde ich am liebsten mein Leben zu ende leben. zusammen mit diesen wunderbaren fahrzeugen die auch durch Rost ihre schöneheit nicht verlieren...
My thoughts from start to finish of that vid. Will the pain ewer end... I am an emotional person who loves cars, i like working on cars more than driving them. Right now i am thinking about rescuing a old Mercedes Vito 1997 because i find it a pity to scrap it. Thou it is rotten as a gorgonzola cheese i belive it is worth the effort, and because it is what i like to do for my pleasure. To see this film here is almost unbearable. Rest in peace poor Opel VW Morris etc.
I agree. It's hard to swallow. Think of the time, energy, effort and money it took to build those machines. Mercedes-Benz is in the top category when it comes to quality of build and reputation. Many international Heads of States use that particular brand. Really sad. But what about those Rolls Royces, BMWs and Jaguars? I think I saw about seven of those. And being a Ford V8 man, I saw a Mustang at 1.55. The first thing I said..."a Mustang". But, we have to remember...the wrecking yards know what they are doing. What it cost to "bring" it back, relative to its value in the market. You just don't spend $30,000 on a vehicle that's worth $10,000 after restoration. So, it ends up in the yard. Really sad, really is. The only problem with video, is it has an infestation of...Beetles!!!
Vw beetles and Thomas the tank engine fan 13 :--Ask Demeterio from Habana,Cuba to come over and save the cars!.He will find ways and mean to resurrect these rust into rust scraps into voluptuous beauties!!!.
I couldn't believe that the tidy Swiss would tolerate such a mess for ever. No surprises then, when I couldn't find it on Google Earth - a 2008 Swiss court ruling ordered the cars removed so they were either auctioned off or sent for scrap.
It's a conversion of sorts called VW Auwärter Carlux, I can't seem to find much English documentation of it, but they had some info on it when it got auctioned. From what I remember the short summary goes as follows: It's extremely rare, it was sold off and is being restored. Here's one in better condition: /watch?v=pBfxLrVmgFE
You're right,to restore the cars are too far gone. However,on every car shown here are still reusable parts.Door handles, bumpers, axles, windscreens, emblems and so on.Parts where many car restorers searching for. Therefore, and not only for this reason,it's a shame that these cars were pressed into scrap metal.
:( I would have given ANYTHING for some of this cars, the poor 56 Plymouth... I wouldn't mind travelling from Spain up to here and take one of this old beauties home to give it a new decent life... I'm a 19 year old student which had to work VERY hard in order to buy a destroyed 79 Citroen Dyane, and... Seing that somewhere else part of this cars were destroyed... I would have paid for at least one of them all the money i have, which isnt a lot but... That wasn't an end for those cars... At all
Hope they all went to a good home. Also supprised they were not bought up years ago. I know people that travel to Europe and load up containers and bring them to America.
There is a good opportunity for an enterprising European businessman !.Bring a couple of auto mechanics from Cuba, put up a makeshift workshop and tools. These mechanics will work wonders and resurrect all these to good automobiles!.
uno de joven kisiera uno de esos carros para los q les guste lo antiguo seria dificil restaurarlo pero haora con la tecnolojia si se puede cuantos no kisieran uno de esos
The owners closed the windows and doors well and then died. If they knew what happened to her, they would cry..yes, it was inherited by those who did not deserve it 😢
Too bad those cars are rotting away because these cars had charisma. 100 meters away you knew what brand it was while cars today you should first read the brand because they all look alike. Maybe there are some cars to rescue but do not long wait with it.
I think they should be kept under some roof and protected with some kind of chemical sealer to stop the rust; don't think restoration is viable for anyone.

It's amazing to think that all these cars were arriving home one day for the first time, ready for their maiden voyage out for a family drive on their first run - brand new. Fresh out of the factory. Sad.
beautifully said... they lived a good life, and here they are, abandoned shells of their former glory
Excellent vídeo & music.... surrealistic!
its crazy!!! many rare and historical cars over there,,, and no ones do something to them,,,oh my GOD!!!!!
"Restaurieren" jedes einzelne ein Goldschatz !!!
Excelente trabalho. Som de fundo muito adequado. Poderia ficar horas só imaginando a história desses carros com seus proprietários.
Thanks
I.. Want.. Everyone.. Of.. Those..

GOLD!
Interesting to see the effect of a wet climate. Doubt if more the 2 or 3 could be restored but at great cost the rest crusher bait
The cat owns it all now, what a lucky cat, hadn't even done a days job

It's odd to think years ago these cars might have been full of happy families going on a picnic or being polished by their proud owner.
***** and some little bitches lost their virginity....

Yeah, that makes me almost cry 😭😫😭😭
if i had the means to rescue them all i would in a heart beat...

Can you tell me who wrote/performed this music? It's class. Lots of harmonics over drones. Very cool. the video speaks for itself.

well done.go to restore them as much as u can.pls.
it saddens me that the swiss authorities decided to 'clean up' this site... they should have made it into a mausoleum/museum. this was so unique...
Were they able to save any of those cars or were they all scrapped?
its so sad !

What a waste and it figures this was in Switzerland where no one seems to ever know what's going on around them. Sound familiar?
