My first and HUGE mistake was not doing the research. So, that's what I've been doing the last 2 months. I've got a cussing coloring book...and within less than a week I've had 20 sales. I am a Neuro Trauma ICU RN and have to say you shouldn’t be able to create a “stroke recovery” book of any kind without understanding how stroke effects different parts of brain, comprehension and learning.. Obviously I am here to learn more about creating content for medium content books etc.. however I feel a certain type of way about titles like “stroke recovery”. She does suggest research which I agree but some topics cannot be understood with a couple of quick google searches.. low vision puzzle book is worlds away from stroke recovery.

I LOVE your delivery! So matter of fact and informative! My husband and I have adopted one of our granddaughters and, as older parents, we are still saving for retirement but we want to spend (and she needs us to give) more of our time with her especially in the summer months when she's out of school. We would also love to be more involved with our other grandkids and we like to help out with them when and where we can. I would really love to resign my full-time position to be a stay-at-home grandmommy :-) In order for me to leave my current position, our initial monthly goal would be $5,000. Once school starts back up in the fall, we would work towards expanding that goal because we'll have more time to devote to growing this business while she's in school. You really did a great job at helping us think outside the box. Not only did you shut down the idea of over saturation by helping me understand that this will really mostly apply to over saturation of low quality, low effort products vs opportunity with substance filled, value forward product. That made a big shift in my mind that puts all the videos I have watched into perspective. There’s a fast and easy way (where you may not see the results you hope for) and there’s a somewhat slower but honestly still easy way that just requires you to go an extra mile or two than everyone else! Really got a lot of value from your lesson that I will apply to all aspects of digital marketing. ❤

As a Physical therapist who specializes in Dementia patients, cardiovascular, neurological, amputation, orthopedic and sports medicine, I just realized that I can do these types of books. Instead of my journals that aren't selling much.
For the past 2 weeks, I've been watching dozens and dozens of various content creators and their takes on how to do kdp low content books and make BIG money fast. But this video, by far, is the best one out of all the one's I've spent weeks watching. There's more to just slapping a book together, and doing minor keyword research. Niching down is key. There's too much cut and run youtubers out here not giving quality information. This is my first time seeing this young lady, and I have found my virtual mentor. I came across this video today! I made a downloadable adult activity/ coloring book over a year ago and sold a few thru Pulley. My eyes got so big when you started explaining medium content books because that's exactly what mine is. Down to the puzzles. Energi girl you are on here giving out some great advice! I’m taking notes. I took a semester off from school but feel as though I’ve just listened to a great lecture. I want to turn my book I wrote into an audible book. I published a book of poetry back in 2012 through create space. It didn’t sell a lot. It was only in paper back. I pulled it from Amazon last year because I want to revise it and put out as a kindle book and do an audiobook. I subscribed to book bolt but I have analysis paralysis 🤦🏿♀️ I’m stuck trying to figure out how to transfer my manuscript to book bolt. I’m going to watch some videos and just keep trying. I have a poetry video on my other channel where one of my poems went viral back in 2007 (yea I’m an old TH-cam head 😂) it has 2 million views on it. I need to harness that in some way. I’m hoping once I do a actual audio book I can make a trailer for that channel and also do some live readings to promote the audio book and the kindle/paperback.

currently I am making about $200- $500 selling coloring books, that's both through KDP and Etsy. I started in January so its only been 3 full months. I would love to make about $1,000 consistently. It would supplement my income well. I really enjoyed your video and the fact that you encourage people to not be lazy and to do actual work!! That is the exact mindset I have had going into it. To hopefully rise above the saturation just by having a better quality. I entered for the book bolt and have my fingers crossed !
i found them .. they are beautiful! I would suggest in the future doing better keyword research and having your title/subtitle be seo optimized.. you want to make sure people are actually searching for these. Look at the top sellers' titles and mirror those. So Ethereal coloring book > Fairy fantasy greyscale coloring book (10K results) Dark lullaby coloring book > Creepy coloring book (2K results) Fairy Houses Coloring Book > This is good already. Id look at the negative reviews of other top performers and see how you can improve on them. I also suggest using A+ content to stand out

It's really good information. I made 2 lowcontent books, but the performance was very poor. So I started studying on TH-cam, but I wish I had met ENERGI sooner, but I'm so glad I found out even now. Thank you for the good lecture and I will definitely make a book that sells well through market analysis.
Keep going. Read customer feedback and adjust accordingly. Volume and quality are key. Very few authors make millions with one book. Some authors put out 200+. Just keep going and keep growing. You can do it.
I definitely need to look into the research but interesting enough the niches that have low competition happen to be my area of interest. I want to do the Did you know animal books, I love mixing facts with art. And the trauma, anxiety, narc abuse, stroke all stuff I would love to do. I love helping others.

OK I watched this again, and I do not do that. I wanted to make sure I got all your wonderful ideas. I am a writer transitioning from teaching on line. I have taught EFL/ESL and writing at all levels for more than 20 years, but I have only 4 students left. Some just cannot pay even $10 per hour and some just do not need me any more, because I taught them how to learn. I was looking at writing what I really want to write, but that will be slow and I need money now. At 78 getting a job is not realistic even on line, as many employers think that white hair is leaky brains. Besides, I have been working for myself for a very long time, and I am a good boss. So after discussing all of this with a couple of good friends, I have decided to write medium content and short content to sell the medium content while I spend extra time writing the longer textbooks and fiction and other stuff. Your ideas are gold. I will look to see how much bookbolt will cost me as it provides a complementary service to my publisher Rocket (Chesson is a good guy too). YOu have helped me make a better plan. Thank you. I will watch all of your videos and maybe I will try making some also later on, Mercy buckets.

Very useful info, good job But I wanted to ask. Searching for a very specific niche gets less results, therefore less competition for sure. But doesn't that mean less sales because it is searched for less often ?
That's the most of what's missing here. People may not be making many diabetes coloring books... because there isn't great demand for a diabetes coloring book. Without connecting sales to competition, this advice is incomplete.

The stroke recovery books look enticing. I had a stroke and almost lost everything, I've made a strong recovery but I'm the minority when it comes to a good recovery. There's many stages to recovery and I possess the knowledge of what I went through personally and can share it and offer ideas that helped me to recover

Amazing video with lot of bright ideas! I do have six scifi books (novel…) already written, but stil stuck on the process of formatting etc. The idea is to up them as e-books. You really did a great job at helping us think outside the box. Not only did you shut down the idea of over saturation by helping me understand that this will really mostly apply to over saturation of low quality, low effort products vs opportunity with substance filled, value forward product. That made a big shift in my mind that puts all the videos I have watched into perspective. There’s a fast and easy way (where you may not see the results you hope for) and there’s a somewhat slower but honestly still easy way that just requires you to go an extra mile or two than everyone else! For the past 2 weeks, I've been watching dozens and dozens of various content creators and their takes on how to do kdp low content books and make BIG money fast. But this video, by far, is the best one out of all the one's I've spent weeks watching. There's more to just slapping a book together, and doing minor keyword research. Niching down is key. There's too much cut and run youtubers out here not giving quality information. This is my first time seeing this young lady, and I have found my virtual mentor. Energi girl you are on here giving out some great advice! I’m taking notes. I took a semester off from school but feel as though I’ve just listened to a great lecture. I want to turn my book I wrote into an audible book. I published a book of poetry back in 2012 through create space. It didn’t sell a lot. It was only in paper back. I pulled it from Amazon last year because I want to revise it and put out as a kindle book and do an audiobook. I subscribed to book bolt but I have analysis paralysis 🤦🏿♀️ I’m stuck trying to figure out how to transfer my manuscript to book bolt. I’m going to watch some videos and just keep trying. I have a poetry video on my other channel where one of my poems went viral back in 2007 (yea I’m an old TH-cam head 😂) it has 2 million views on it. I need to harness that in some way. I’m hoping once I do a actual audio book I can make a trailer for that channel and also do some live readings to promote the audio book and the kindle/paperback.

currently I am making about $200- $500 selling coloring books, that's both through KDP and Etsy. I started in January so its only been 3 full months. I would love to make about $1,000 consistently. It would supplement my income well. I really enjoyed your video and the fact that you encourage people to not be lazy and to do actual work!! That is the exact mindset I have had going into it. To hopefully rise above the saturation just by having a better quality. I entered for the book bolt and have my fingers crossed !

i found them .. they are beautiful! I would suggest in the future doing better keyword research and having your title/subtitle be seo optimized.. you want to make sure people are actually searching for these. Look at the top sellers' titles and mirror those.
So Ethereal coloring book > Fairy fantasy greyscale coloring book (10K results)
Dark lullaby coloring book > Creepy coloring book (2K results)
Fairy Houses Coloring Book > This is good already. Id look at the negative reviews of other top performers and see how you can improve on them.

It's really good information. I made 2 lowcontent books, but the performance was very poor. So I started studying on TH-cam, but I wish I had met ENERGI sooner, but I'm so glad I found out even now. Keep going. Read customer feedback and adjust accordingly. Volume and quality are key. Very few authors make millions with one book. Some authors put out 200+. Just keep going and keep growing. You can do it.

OK I watched this again, and I do not do that. I wanted to make sure I got all your wonderful ideas. I am a writer transitioning from teaching on line. I have taught EFL/ESL and writing at all levels for more than 20 years, but I have only 4 students left. Some just cannot pay even $10 per hour and some just do not need me any more, because I taught them how to learn. I was looking at writing what I really want to write, but that will be slow and I need money now. At 78 getting a job is not realistic even on line, as many employers think that white hair is leaky brains. Besides, I have been working for myself for a very long time, and I am a good boss. So after discussing all of this with a couple of good friends, I have decided to write medium content and short content to sell the medium content while I spend extra time writing the longer textbooks and fiction and other stuff. Your ideas are gold. I will look to see how much bookbolt will cost me as it provides a complementary service to my publisher Rocket (Chesson is a good guy too). YOu have helped me make a better plan. Thank you. I will watch all of your videos and maybe I will try making some also later on, Mercy buckets.

That's the most of what's missing here. People may not be making many diabetes coloring books... because there isn't great demand for a diabetes coloring book. Without connecting sales to competition, this advice is incomplete.
