We had the pleasure of wrapping this new 2021 BMW X5M Competition in XPEL Stealth. A paint protection film that changes the finish of the vehicle's original paint (I.e. gloss to satin).
This also received an interior and exterior ceramic coating.

You have 3 other people asking, and I’d like to know as well: what was the base color? Black? Carbon metallic? I’m considering a matte wrap on CBM and curious how it’ll turn out.

It probably looked quite good, don't know, couldn't see the whole vehicle, just little bit, really quickly, apart from the shot outside, which was very cleverly hidden by adverts. Excellent camera work

Nice work fellas! First video I've seen from you guys. I'll definitely have to check out some more. I ordered a charger hellcat redeye in the indigo blue color, and I'm not sure I'm gonna like it. I'm thinking about doing the stealth wrap on it.

What’s the original paint color code?
I've been told the plastics (trims) on my X5 aren't able to be wrapped. Is this true?

So the car is just black and this film makes it matte? Is this a protection vinyl or what is it?
Just cereus how close is this color to BMW Frozen line, I have a Frozen white M5 and I am trying to wrap it but I would like to keep the look, is it more of Satin or Frozen.

Cool video effects, but unfortunately it does not give the viewer the full image of what it would look like in person.
If I am going to pay 6-7 k, I want to see what it would look like when I walk up to it or what people would see.
after wrapping the car, do you cover it with something else, like a film?
They ceramic coat it. Makes it easier to clean.
Hi from Australia folks ! So what brand squeegee and soaps and wrap brand do you use? just looking at doing a diy… is removal a big task?
Hey Josh. We use XPEL Paint Protection film, this one being their Stealth brand film, a frosted finish PPF. And it's not uncommon for shops to use Johnson's baby shampoo as their soap solution.
Turn your tool pack to the back .constant rubbing of canvas on paint not good.

Looks good! My opinion / rant incoming.... I always think it's so f'ing annoying with all the stupid camera movement after the ride is done... Stop bouncing the F'ing camera around and turning it upside down and zooming in and out up close... Show the whole friggin ride entirely for more than .0000001 F'ing seconds.... 5 seconds for front, side profile, rear, different angles etc etc... come on already,.... F... rant over.
