Very accurate list Unknown Cap is my favourite (he looks sick after shenlong quest), managed to kill the arena 100 boss in like 4-5 turns. I think i once dealt around 600 dmg in one turn with him, with pepper of course... The only thing i would change is curse captain in S tier as he is amazing, sometimes he lacks healing but the survivability is just crazy
Eya, know its been 5 months since you posted this, but can you give me tips for decks with him? I have beat his quest and know how to play him effectively, but I don't know a good deck with him (apart from overloading with curses, which can get you killed in arena)
@@funky3846 you mean the curse captain or the unkown ? Im not very good when it comes to curse captain but i can give you a few tips for unknown cap. Always start by searching for a pepper If u cannot get it for like first 20 waves in arena try again with a new game. Focus on getting as much relics as u can and as little cards as possible at the same time. You only need to copy specter shocks a few times to have a huge advantage. Try to collect relics that boost damage, like aquebus, skull gun etc. Pepper is pretty much mandatory at this point since captain loses hp with every card. Also if possible go for a pendant and a bracer, this will turn your armor into a weapon dealing huge dmg to all of the enemies. Always try to deal as much dmg as possible in the first turn of each game, then make a small room for healing, maybe use ribbon for a quick health regen at each kill. And that's basically it. Just try to get as much specter shocks copies as you can and focus on getting pepper. After that focus only on getting more relics and less cards.
@Funky Mann if you're looking for advice for Curse captain, I'd still reccomend making heavy curse builds in arena. The only difference is that since you need a strong and focused deck, you either double down on shields or discarding. Discard decks are especially good if you have the fabled package, although it's not neccessary, but shield builds are one of the strongest builds in arena, and with enough curses and copies of clipping, you can generate a ton. If you're making a shield build in arena it's important to gain more max hp, so overdose healing and mechanical heart from PE are great, or ice arrow from NL can do the same with a bit more difficulty. The best way to deal damage in a curse captain shield build is with explosive armor from ES, which will always deal double damage on its first use past arena 50, because all enemies start with a bit of block. Once you've got those, just trim your deck so that you can win on turn 1 or 2 as often as possible, and find some healing. Arena should be a breeze!
Mostly accurate and good list, a few things I would add: Alchemist has the most insane ammo balance in the game once you have the Unstable Alchemies upgraded, synergises great with Full Defense for block (and as you mentioned, Philosophers' Stone is insane). Fortune Teller is one of the most guaranteed wins in Navigate level mode, but you go for the very same 5-card deck every time, bit boring, but still, as reliable as it gets (still incredibly effective and also, very fast, on most of my maps her run is the quickest). Inventor, as you said, has incredible potential, but don't you dare go without the repairable package. Gear and Spare Kit are your best friends keeping your ammo up, and Repair Kit to keep the relics working.
Since my last comment i have played many heroes on arena and i have to admit that there is nothing better than admiral After the last update in which we got ritual pendant relic he became easily the most op hero in the whole game Almost 300 dmg per hit, amazing health regen with ribbon relic and if you manage to find a bell or a knife your build is basically finished. My best arena run with him took around 40 mins. Admiral on arena shouldn't even be considered S rank, this is far beyond God tier. Try it yourself, it's literally the easiest hero to play.
Carpenter & Fortuneteller are high-risk / high-damage characters. They can kill hardest bosses in first round. I would say they are not bad, but arcane
I've only playing gunner and I'm surprised to see he's C tier... He's pretty balanced but like you said his armor is very low. You really need heal cards/relics at stage 3 otherwise you had no chance. But idk if it's all the same with other heroes lol
Absolutely, I'm going to do runs with every chatacter and probably more after that. I also have a couple other new games in mind I'd like to bring to the channel at some point
Hello , could you please make a walk through for doctor mission, i'm quite desperate to finish the task, i keep failiing all over again 😅 . Thanks best regards
I just unlocked the Inventor and went through the portal to Port Elysia for the first time. I was able to defeat the Lost Civilization quest boss, the Elysia bounty, and the final boss in a single blind attempt with him, without any issue, so I do find him quite strong. He has access to several relics that can provide a lot of ammo, and I feel like it doesn't really take much more than that to keep him going, as his base deck is extremely functional. You must have a lot more experience with him now, so what are your thoughts?
Can you do the same navigate tier list but for First Mate's skins? I tried its Unknown Captain skin but could hardly build any synergy deck around its healing/ammo damaging style; the +1 healing is just too low.
I definitely will at some point, although I don't feel I know enough about them yet, they came out so recently and I haven't gotten the chance to try them all. When I do so I'll probably make a full updated tier list
One more thing, since you mentioned the UC skin I thought I'd mention some some strategies I've been using. I think building around echo is the best way to go, so start by upgrading it, as doubling the healing makes a huge difference. After that, my goal is usually to find ways to play it multiple times in a turn. This can include mirror image, making a small deck with good card draw, excavate, or the new quest reward, souls in a bottle. Alongside this, I take any self damage synergies I can find, and try to spend as much health as I can before playing both echos and healing back to full. It's a really hard build to get going and I'm still looking for more good ways to play him, but so far this to me seems like the best endgame he can get to.
Beartamer advice, Upgrade Bear Paws and Ammo as soon as possible, (Depends on playstyle) *I'd remove Tame, Take whatever the Bear gives to you instead. Injury can work as a deck, But Armour + Damagestacking, So play Tanky with some Booster Strikes.
Also adding that you should upgrade Wild, since it makes the bear even more effective and is probably The Best damage mitigation card in the entire game
She is underrated a bit. Def at the very least she is above gunner. But she is not easy to understand and master and probably one of the weakest early game. But I was able to beat skull island on hard mode with her on my 1st run. Can never do that with gunner.
Actually I think gunner is really good in arena. If you have tooth, bandolier, and rose you can repeatedly crit them and heal each time, and running seeking shots can allow you to defeat almost any enemy on turn one. Give him a pepper as well and some self-damaging cards and he can cycle through his whole deck really well
I'm thinking the same, but not so much because of the shield. I feel like it's not worth taking shield cards since the requirement of having full HP is hard to always have. IMO, the main advantages are the versatility you get. You can still just spam high damage melee cards like SM, since you have % based healing, although it's not as good. But in addition, multihits are very strong, you don't need to play agilities to get dodge, and monkey fists make drunk builds very viable.
If it's the gunner quest you're talking about, I recommend keeping the last enemy on the second wave of the fight alive and stalling ad long as you need, stacking armor and issue order stacks until the fight with UC starts.
I'd reccomend putting some injury in your deck, especially with cards like brutal spell. The curse kraken never changes it's own status so you're free to pile it on throughout the fight
I think the best characters in arena are doctor, vigilante, chicken, and swordmaster. Those are the best ones imo but really anyone else is viable and they really aren't far behind in terms of power. In arena your skill and knowledge matters more than anything.
Multihits are very good with chicken because combative increases the damage of each hit you do. Whether it's melee or ranged doesn't matter much as long as you have enough ammo, but melee is obviously better. For relics, I'd reccomend anything that can increase your damage, or anything that has rage synergy
Bleed based enemies aren't a huge issue for swordmaster, you have a status changer in your base deck! The damage it deals is usually very little, the worst part of bleed is that it removes your dodge.
@@mategetsnosleep3612 If you're talking about Ed'hog specifically, then absolutely! Save agility until after you play your attacks and you'll have no problem in that fight playing sword master, even with multihits! Status changes are the key to making Ed'hog an easy fight.
why Admiral is B? Why is there no cure on the base deck?
