Hua Hua is a very talented & versatile artist, singer, composer and song arranger. His music is so unique. Love him as always! 🌺🌺🎤🎼🎶👍👍👍👏👏👏💖💕😘😎
Hua-Hua, as his fans love to call him, is a phenomenal singer-songwriter. He had 24 hours to write this song which was based on the opening/ending theme (just a scant few bars of melody, no lyrics) of a 80s TV series called Journey to the West. A lot of cultural references as this is a classic Chinese tale. Great Sage of Heaven refers to the Monkey King in the Journey of the West who held off the army of the Jade Emperor, only to be imprisoned under a mountain by Buddha. Also love his re-arrangement of a classic 60s song Nanping Evening Bells and a 90s rap song Nunchucks! His covers are what I remember when anyone mention these two songs - the originals are a faint memory.

Glad you checked out Hua Chenyu, Hua Hua for his fans. In this video, HuaHua was challenged to create a song in 24 hours from a 30 seconds meme of an anime of the 90s and that's what he came up with, music and lyrics, even kept a 90's feel. HuaHua is truly a genius composer and awesome composer. Given the few sounds, and 24 hours to create this. 😮 He covers EVERY genre (Rock/Metal, Rap, Reggae, Broadway, Ballads, Pop, SynthPop, Peking Opera and on and on). He is a chameleon in sounds and looks. A combination of David Bowie, Freddie Mercury, Steven Tyler, Bruno Mars and even Elton John. 🤣 This performance comes in my low 40s of "Top 50 Hua Hua Performances". He is a prolific Composer/music arranger, and has the ability to make you cry, laugh or marvel at his vocal abilities. Thank you for Reacting to him. 👍
He was a Judge in the first rounds. If the amateur Challenger beat the Judge they moved to later rounds. In later rounds, the Judges became Mentors and duetted with the "Amateurs". Fabulous concept for a show. The Judges were GIVVEN a rotten song, or just plink plonk sounds (as happened to Hua Hua for Codename Contra.. Contra video game sounds 🤣). The Judge then has 24 hours to arrange and perform their arrangement.

Hi, this is from the show The Next. Hua Chenyu was a mentor/judge on this show. Amateur singers challenge one of the mentor/professional singers. The mentor get a song chosen by the challenger ( oftentimes funny, silly songs or just a short melody from a TV Show or a video game , sometimes even without any lyrics).The professional singer has only 24 hours to rearrange the given song, sometimes compose new parts and new lyrics , learn the song and perform it on stage. The challengers can sing whatever they want and they have a lot more time to practice. If the challenger win he will go to the next round, if he loose he has to leave the show. HuaHua was awesome in this show. He is an amazing composer, singer, rapper. You could check out one of his own compositions next. Jackdaw Boy, Aliens, Bullfighting, New World. ....
