I want to get AGM from the front and D4S LT0 6 and JP630 rear do you have any idea how to power them or disturbing the power? Main power to JP630 cap bank first in series to LTo 6 than buss to the 2 amp at LTO 6 ? the other way around LTO 6 first and buss at JP630? or I would just get a distribution block and connect all the power to the block. I have a question. I got a 320 amp alternator and XS power D3400 and 2 XP3000 in the rear and a SB 500 under the hood. I have a Taramps Smart 5. Would it be better to move the D3400 under the hood and the SB500 to the rear closer to the amp?
If you have all that, and just a smart 5k, your solid. You should never touch below 12v. But a lot of XS Team members run them under the hood. You could try to swap things, but I don’t know if you would see much difference if your all wired up correctly.

I don't drive the car very much and wanted to get rid of the AGM. It was affecting my resting voltage due to the car sitting 6 days a week.
As long as you keep it between the voltage it needs, it’s should be fine. Not a problem on my truck that has a 14.8v-15.1v range on the highest side and won’t drop below 12v

Question for ya.. i got a crew cab sierra like yours i just ordered a d3400 because the one i had in there went kaput along with a duracell agm 😢. So i just seen these SB and im considering grabbing one of these as well.. also thinking of grabbing a couple of the long northstars to put in my bed because im currently gonna be running an 8k stetsom a 10k and 2 3k stetsom.. do you think it'll be enough battery and can i use the northstars after the SB? Or the D3400? Currently i only run mids (12s) and horns and tweets. Oh yea and i have a mechman 400.. any advice will be appreciated! 🙏🏼
You need a D34 series (10v and below -15v) and the SB-500 is like 12v to 15v. They need to be ran with a AGM along with the SB to keep your ride in the right voltage and not mess up, (info told to me by xspower) so that’s why I did it how I did it. 😀 With my setup, I can eat 7500 watts and never drop below 14v , northstar batteries always lasted me less than half the Life a XSP did for me.

@@vicsvlogsandmods698 sounds good bro. Since I installed my combo, they have been bulletproof on my 5k and 1.5k door amp. The supercab bank can go underhood as well. Makes a good “battery delete” open for some good reserve. 💯
I just added one of these too my honda civic 2021, I ran the amplifier positive to the bank from the factory battery, from the bank to the amp. Recently i been noticing an electrical battery smell coming from my factory battery, the voltage is the same and is normal what could be causing this? did i install it correctly? i know i charged it correctly and everything is intact no loose wires or anything.. its almost as if my battery is being overcharged now im not sure.. the factory battery also doesnt seem too hot when i check it..

I have 2 D4800 it charges to 14.4 but then drops to 12.6 with in one minute. Is the battery bad. I have a smart charger but I have not charged them to 100% since I got them. That was 2 months ago
@@banginbros4L I have a 2018 Accord Sport it was nearly impossible to find it. Soo I bought a used D1200 4 days ago and I used the desulfation mode and then charged it and right away with in 5 seconds it said complete and the smart charger turned off. Can’t remember what the A were but I checked it right now and it’s at 12.74 but I do remember the top numbers were 2.2A is that the A per hour. But I left my D4800 charging over night and it’s at 90% charge 14.0V and the top number reads 1.1A. I immediately stopped the charge.

hi, I have a SB500-34r replacing my oem battery under the hood / back of truck I have 3 bank LTO's. When I charge Super Bank to 15v over night it continually drops down to 13.7v and the longer i let it sit the lower it goes.... Once installed will my 420amp alt charge this superbank up properly ? what happens if I dont use my truck for a couple of days will the superbank deplete itself... ?

Was worried they're no close enough together to install it. What do you think I should do? Charge the cap without the light to get it resting closer to the LTO resting voltage? I have 72ah plannano. I used a regular charger / volt meter and charged mine to 15v right now it sits in the bed of my truck next to my 120ah lithium bank holding at 14.4 all the while its not hooked up to my alt just yet, I monitor it weekly and keep it at 15v until im ready to make the power connection at the alt..
