You might want to invest in a bred otter with melee, they help with cold and can carry artifacts, having one for the big snow cave is a must, it's very cold in there. And remember that hitching post wander trick, with some air cons or the two dimetrodons set up where the eggs would land, you'll have them automatically incubate the eggs for you. So you can play and explore while you get the breeding done, you got pretty lucky with the health stat too, very nice!
Great ideas. I haven't been able to find an otter when I wanted to tame one. I got close to one but it disappeared on me. Any other time I've seen one I have been doing something else so I couldn't try to tame them. Will otters fight from your shoulder like dimorphodons do?
@@RidleyFox1 They will but sadly they don't do much damage, if you release one and tell it to attack a fish, it will bring you a pearl or a black pearl though. Their purpose is to keep you warm, they work like dimetrodons, dire bears insulate you as well, great mount for the snow biome. Don't worry about getting to the ice cave I mentioned though, it's different than the one on the cliff but it will be one of the last ones you'll visit so there's time, you'll need a really good mount for it, preferably one that doesn't trigger purlovias.
If you want to climb the mountains without relying on flyers, take your thyla or some grappling hooks. You also forgot to dismount when the microraptor appeared lol.
I don't have a thyla yet! Can't find a good one. I'll probably use my argie to explore up there. I know I didn't dismount in time! I always forget to dismount until it's too late 😄

@@RidleyFox1 Sorry I thought i remember you taming one before. I've seen you get thyla'd a few times before so that might be what i'm remembering.
@@DarkChaoto I wish I had one, I've looked a few times but no luck so far.
Baryonyx are very good tames to have.
I totally agree. It's great that you can go on land and water with them. Love mine!
