- Brooke finds out that Ridge tried to trick her by making her sign a contract which would give the Forresters the rights on BeLieF formula.
Brooke is furious with Ridge, Eric and Stephanie.
I miss this Brooke. She loved Ridge but she wasn’t putting up with his BS. And she did it with class and grace. Love it.

@@SR-uf8pt Yeah Heather Tom just reacts well to a high tense situation, it's not even acting at some point. She can sell an emotional scene if it calls for it, but not really beyond that.
KKL really displayed how well she can react at a great storyline. Same with when Storm killed himself
Unfortunately back when KKL was at her best (acting and the material she was given) the Emmy rules made it nearly impossible for half hour shows to get nominations. Flannery didn’t even get a nomination (and win) for Bold until 2000.
Look at you all trying to convince yourselfs that KKL is a better actress that Heather Tom. I mean what a joke. Heather is phenomenal, KKL only got those few nominations when there were only few soaps left on air anymore. That's because she is such a one dimensional and she has never known how to use her voice to make an impact. She either whispers or shrills in a high-pitch voice.
Preston Casey I mean she has been Nominated on EVERY soap she has appeared on YR OLTL and BB and the first person to complete a CLEAN sweep in the acting categories(Younger Actress 2x, Supporting Actress, and Lead Actress)

One of my all-time favorite, best scenes, ever! loved B&B! KKL was absolutely phenomenal here, and beyond. She should've won an Emmy, easily! She was dynamite! love Susan Flannery as well, no doubt!
I agree in terms of an Emmy or at least a nomination for KKL especially in this story. The issue was so much competition in the early 90s - so many strong performances in the daytime industry!

Totally. It is not always clear all the time of course (of course because yes Brooke is a horse’s ass) but Stephanie is the villain. The child abuse she suffered caused her to be a bizarro helicopter parent and this played out over the whole show as a disaster for her family.

I think there have been some who won who shouldn't have like Susan Lucci. I like KKL's performances. She improved over the years but to me to be nominated for an Emmy means you are exceptional in performance. I just don't see her performances as exceptional. Good at times, but each year I think there are actresses who do better.
KKL is actually a great actress. She is a character actress. She plays off her counter points very well. She has went from town vixen to Mrs. Robinson and it steal works. KKL vs the bottle didn't work. KKL vs Stephanie portrait doesn't work well either.
Wrong...B&B was great because of the Brooke Vs. Stephanie rivalry REGARDLESS of who you side with. Shelia Carter in the mix also helped. Shelia played both sides quite well...at least for awhile.
I agree Don. also Taylor in the triangle with Brook and Ridge. that love triangle lasted 23 years it helped Brook KKL.
Any scene that ends with Stephanie speechless is good.

Except Connor wasn't honest and belief didn't belong to Brooke. She used FC property to make it.
The storyline was that Eric never had employment contracts for family so there was nothing in black and white stating that anything she created on company time with company equipment belonged to the company.
I wonder at the end of this scene does Stephanie regretting going to Brooke's house and say she "purge" her from the Forrester "Family".

Brooke was okay when the Logan's and Stephanie found out Eric lied for decades about the title of the whole entire company. Stephanie legally could've kicked them all to the curb in the beginning when the Logan's came huffing around. But when they pull a fast one on her over the company she gets all mad 🤣😂 loved KKL and her acting back then. It's just too much now

It kinds of Parallels when Victor Newman acquired Jabot in a Hostile Takeover when Jack suggested to John that they take Jabot public. I don't think John ever fully forgave Jack for what he did. As for Brooke, she's the last person to talk about Morals. She lies to Eric about Bridget being Ridge's and of course Ridge finds out that Eric's not his Bio Father but Massimo is.

Eric married her because she was pregnant with Ridge. That's what really started the fued with Brooke and Stephanie.

Dani K Eric and Brooke were married. Brooke went to work and created the FC lab. While there she developed Belief. Brooke, like most Forresters, worked without a contract. Eric and Brooke divorced shortly after Bridgette Birth. Brooke settlement was nice but didn't get any part of Forrester. Brooke thought Ridge was going to leave Taylor for her since everyone thought Bridgette was his child. The Forrester atty went to apply for the Belief patent but couldn't find Brooke's employment contract. Since Brooke developed Belief it was hers. Ridge wanted to go to Brooke with the contract, "or oversight", and Brooke sign it. But things between Brooke/ Stephanie was tense. Ridge went to Brooke with 2 contracts to sign. Brooke signed 1 but not the other. Ridge picked up the unsigned contract and Broke Brooke's heart. However, Stephanie came in 5 minutes later and gloated. She called Brooke a home wrecker, hooker, and the stuff she would normally say. So the next day when Ridge realize Brooke had the signed contract + hearing that Stephanie decided to kick Brooke when she was down the Forresters realize they were royally screwed.
Brooke I do not consider as Stephanie did...HUMAN!!! She is and still is a MONSTER!!!

The DNA tests were switched because of Sheila. Sheila was in the lab and toyed with the results. She was distracted by someone and she didn't know who was the father neither. It wasn't until the result came back the swap worked in Sheila's favor. That meant Sheila could make a play for Eric. It wasn't until 1996 or 1997 Brooke and the rest found out Bridget was Eric's child. Brooke almost had a near mental breakdown in the Bahamas or Barbados when she found out. That's why the audience was disgusted years later the writers wanted to push for Ridge and Bridget. It was gross because the first 5 years of Bridget's life she was Ridge's daughter.

Brooke and Ridge were engaged to be married but waiting on Eric to issue the divorce papers and Eric slept with Brooke while she was knocked out drugged in bed. She was unaware b/c at the time she was engaged to Ridge and they were living together and she was only sleeping with him. Old Stephanie later told her what Eric had done while she was with Ridge who had Taylor subtly chasing him and trying to talk Eric into getting back with Brooke so she could have Ridge. Well, Eric took Taylor's advice and slept with Brooke while she was unconcious. Then later a paternity test was taken proving Ridge was the daddy. But then someone started sending Brooke threatening letters that the baby was Eric's and Brooke confronted Stephanie and Stephanie said Sheila her friend must have changed the test results. Sheila NEVER EVER CONFESSED to changing those tests but they treated it as though she did it and Stephanie demanded a new paternity test be taken out of the blue due to the letters Brooke and Ridge were receiving. And Ridge had raised Bridget as his for 6 years. The doctor and nurse who were associated with the first paternity test were killed in a car explosion and one of them disappeared. Then a new test taken proving that supposedly Eric was the father. Which I don't believe to this day b/c Sheila never confessed to doing that and they still don't bring that up. I think it was Old Stephanie doing that b/c Bridge were on the verge of being married again and Stephanie was trying to get Ridge to marry Taylor again and he refused to, then these cryptic letters started popping up and then when Brooke found out Bridget wasn't Ridge's she became extremly depressed and then Stephanie and Taylor took Brooke's kids away and had Brooke placed in jail and Ridge acted like he didn't want her and when she got out of jail she lost her mind and ran to barbados and got Amnesia. Then Ridge went to try and find her.
