Can you explain the sliders? Does the probability go up as you move them to the right? Does it do it gradually? Is the voltage output the same as that coming from the Turing is the scale is set the same?
Probability doesn't change, the voltage output does. Imagine a simple sequencer; 8 sliders, it steps through each slider, outputting a voltage depending where the slider is set. This is exactly the same, but you can have multiple steps active!
Hey Tom, i was wondering what the Shift knob does...i just finished mine and the SHIFT knob only seems to be active when i use the inverted output. Does that sound normal to you or did i maybe do a mistake ?
nectariosm IF you want them to be in a western scale you would quantize the voltages between turing machine and your oscillator input. You don't have to quantize, but you might not like the 'out of (western) tune' sound.
Great video! Sold me on the purchase of all 3 modules!
So when multiple steps are active, are their respective output voltages summed together??
VERTICAL VIDEO!!

@@MusicThingModular . So the voltages add? Is that linear enough for 1v/oct?

+Sascha Haber Reading the manual, i understand now its a Resistor and so only working top to bottom inverted...all right :)
Hi Tom, was about to assemble the voltages and wondered if it's fine if i use 2k2 resistor array instead of 2k
Yes no problem
ty! couldn't wait more, works like a charm :D
Do voltages need a quantizer?
