Man, this was quite the clinic! I don’t have a desert rose, but I still watched and learned. Love the root work and the details if the recovery process.
Wow! What a great tutorial 🎉 Thank you! I bought my first desert rose last summer, made it through winter dormacy and it is blooming like crazy now. I have been researching like crazy what to do now. am so excited to try your method! Thank you
Yep thanks , when you learn how to make every year true the winter, then you win half of battle. I guess you have white Adenium because you say it flowers like crazy. With a bit bigger leaves? I think I have the same kinde like you. Check one of my videos with bigger Adenium with white flowers.
Its actually a very pretty pink flower. Its a bit leggy so I will prune after the blooming completes to encourage more branches and a shorter main trunk... I live in the hot desert southwest USA so we have a long growing season and a short dormancy period. Wish me luck. Thank you again for the great tutorial.
@@conniepeterson3004 Aha you have perfect conditions .. that is different story. Then don't worry you will do all fine just do it now in summer and no problem at all. Yep and good substrate is the key. Bonsai substrate non organic with coco bark or I use pine bark.
Yes why not I trust you. It is not that hard if you follow few of my videos you are definitely there. And when you finally get the shape then let it flower and then you got something amazing. BTW thx for comment.
Thank you, me too sometimes last year I waited 10 to 13 days but this year was sooo HOT so I didn't wait so longe I should mention that , but ok ]]] THX on feedback.
Hi, yes you can graft seedlings or you can fuse then together by making scar on them and letting them fuse together lets say from 3 plants you can get one fat in no time.
@davidngo3059 Yes, soil is mega important. I have few kinds but best is. Lava ,coco bark, punice, perlite, and expanded clay. I use that for my bonsai trees also, but there I have some zeolite too and a bit less of bark. And if you don't have coco bark, you can put pine bark.
I'm a desert rose newbie, but why would you cut it while it's flowering? Also, my leaves turn brown at the tips. Some say don't water them often and others say to water them often? Thanks for any help 🙏
It flowers mostly thru the year in warm places. In summer they flower but that's the time when the growth is fast, so that's the time to prune it. In winters growth slows down. Cutting or pruning produces more branches. Usually 1 cut makes 2-3 stems so it will result in 2-3 times more flowers in future.
Hello, I don't know where are you from ? And that depends how you will water your Adenium. And second thing if I cut my flowers in winter as my friend just said I cut down waist of nutrients and tree will explode in summer even more. And when I cut that cuttings in half I'll get lot of new branches that I can use to START establishing some structure. So if you tell me where are you from I can tell you- water more or water less. But generally I water my plants more then other people and they are happy now in spring I'm on one's in 3 or 4 days.
These will have codex too just you have to give them time. When you grow from seeds yes they have codex faster but roots are in big mess. Cuttings are better for root management and seeds for codex development. But on the end I will have bouth.

@bonsai_life_style I'm seeing your play list u should do one only for adendiums people are hungry for information about the plant
@@enkeledamolla1390 yes no problem I can do one.
Can you graft desert rose seedling together or do you have to take the pieces of big plants

How to plant desert rose
Hi , I think you should look at this video . There I explain a lot.
Or this one is good too. But dont do repoting if is not really, really hot out side . Do that just in summer.
I am still struggling to find good soil mix. I believe you have good soil mix. Can you tell me what you are using

@arunchandwaney449 Hello, my friend, but I'm from a cold place. I wish I'm in India . ))))
@arunchandwaney449 usually only these white ones flower others no way. At least not for now, maybe in a few years .
Из ветки выращен? Каудекса нет совсем. Мне нравится растить из семечка, они тогда пузатенькие.

❤ adenium
We all love Adenium ))))
Get ready. A new video with Adenium is coming hopefully at the beginning of next week.
Сам же говорит не бойтесь и сам боится. Режте короче, будет только красивее!
Look new video I shortened them a lot.
