How to install Lambo Doors! How hard is it?

- In this video, I show you how me and my Dad installed vertical, lambo doors on my 2010 Camaro! I'm using a Vertical Doors Inc. kit that is a direct bolt on for the 2010-15 Camaro. I cover the install from start to finish and show you how they work! I hope this helps you if you're on the fence about whether or not you want to tackle this mod yourself!

The kit I used was from Vertical Doors Inc. Link: verticaldoors.com/
The quality of the kit was good and 4 months in everything still works great. You can check Amazon and eBay for your make and model to find the kits at a lower price. I bought mine through eBay. It was a genuine kit from Vertical Doors Inc. (even came with a warranty), but was about 40% cheaper than what I would have paid direct from their website. You can also find some other brands and kits by browsing car forums. People who do this mod tend to be pretty willing to talk about their experiences with different kits so it's a good idea to do some research before purchasing.
im not gonna lie but it kinda reminds me of a ricer but its also kinda cool i own a Nissan R32 and im now thinking of doing it but my R32 is lowerd and some nismo rims

I have a Bumblebee Conv. like yours, don't know if people realize how long these doors are but trying not to let the door fly open in a parking lot and hit another car is always fun. I have a 98 Camaro and it has the trademark "long-ass doors". My mom has mastered the art of getting out and not letting the door swing into any objects. Others not so much. Doors like this guy's would be perfect.

Pretty awesome that it still opens up like a normal door so you don’t have to lift the door every time you get in and out and just do it when you wanna stunt and show off the scissor doors but for normal every day life situations you don’t wanna attract attention then just open the door normally

Had the same kit for my mustang GT 2001, it was easy as pie. 3 bolts in total (2 for the front bumper and then 1 for the door arm assembly)
It can be done by 1 person if you had too but I recommend using a friend like he does in this video so you don't end up dropping the door like I did 😂

Same here. The estimate I got was $1200 for the installation by a body shop in my area. Scarey thing...he had never done one before. So the kit is still resting in my trunk waiting for someone who knows what he is doing. Great vid...seems easy...mmmm?

Those hinges are a good idea for parking lots. The only thing I don't like on mine is how far you have to open the doors to get in and out of. Nice job good to see you keep your family involved.

The car and doors are super awesome but the best part about this video is seeing a father and son working on their car together. With all the stereotypes about Black fathers, it’s really great seeing a black father help his son put on badass doors to his kick ass sports car.
But... only issues to these doors are, DO NOT HAVE THE KIDS OR THE MISSES TO SLAM OPEN THE DOORS, this will cause the door bracket to bend and bend hard thus making the doors not fit and aline property at all, so caution is advised , must be careful and open with caution (slow) is the only down falls to these kits , remember there are made out of steel that is med strong not made out of titanium so just be careful when opening these bad boy doors up
But over all I love them and I also ordered a set myself but the ZLR ones gull wings doors for my c7

Rick Postlewait yes sir, I’m well aware of those huge doors. I test drove a Transformers Edtn. Camaro like this way back in 2008, and was gonna pull it outta the dealership, but unfortunately my credit was a bit sour at the time, and wasn’t approved by any lenders. I guess the good lord had other plans for me as far as the cars I got to own. I ended up with a 2014 VW Beetle Basic Line Convertible.

Great job, I'm jealous. I have a 20102SS Camaro, bought it new in Apr 2010 for my retirement car. Only have 6800 miles and kept in in my daughter garage. So during this lockdown, I decided to start. Driving it and park one of my van till it start snowing in Dec 2020. Only drove it 300 miles so far. It came with 6.2L, 425hp automatic, red color with sunroof. I love it. It had a $35K sticker price.

Scott Aguilar a riced cur is a Japanese car/ Japanese inspired car. Hence the name ricer the lambo doors were originally made by Lamborghini hence the name lambo doors, Lamborghini is an Italian company and the Camaro is an American made car, the car is nothing based off a Japanese import or modification so it’s not riced
