    I saw the video on how you maintain the collection - specifically with keeping the class clean on the Exo's with the front opening doors. How do you go about cleaning the glass for the enclosures which open from the top (like the Komodo in this video) rather than the front? With some species I can see putting your hand in could be risky and trigger a food response. For example, say you have a Poki in an enclosure that opens from the top

    • @daveslittlebeasties
      @daveslittlebeasties  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I still do them the same , if the spider is out and in the way I just gently move it round so it hides behind the bark , if its a terrestrial spider I sometimes feed them first or just move them , occasionally I screw up a wad of tissue enough so I can hold it in my tweezers and clean like that .

    Awesome T's seem to be a half and half mixed bag on personalities and if they stay out alot. bought a bunch of slings a while ago and 1 died and the others all matured out so i shipped them off. But i managed to grab a juvenile female that is coming tomorrow. So I will have something a bit hardier and that i can enjoy for a while. Lets hope I get a calmer specimen as i love the genus and the H.pulchripes is the most stunning of the harpactira.

    Hey hey uncle dave!! Ok so I need a bit of ur wisdom! I noticed in ur other vid on these guys that u had one set up arboreal and one set up terrestrial I'm curious what you found u felt was better which one got on better or were they both just fine and they adapted?! I haven't found any specific answer on if they are terrestrial or arboreal or somewhere in the middle I'm currently waiting on a sling in the mail as I type this and I have a few diff types of enclosure ready depending but I figured who better to ask!!
