  • Mmmmmm I’m glad iv finally got hold of this makita tool!, iv never actually had one of these cxt 12v multitool because iv heard its under powered and not very good buuuuuut i need to be the judge of this and do a full and thorough review for all you lovely folks so this is part 1 of 2 of this inspection and dismantle and adhaptation of a makita tool iv never owned!!, iv owned and dismantled all the other makita cordless multitools and im currently waiting for the 40v multitool to be released so i can get my hands on it!!, the biggest challenge for this project is already ongoing and im already multiple hours in, im trying to put parts off a milwalkeee m10 multitool and transplant them into the clam shell of the makita multitool and oh my god it’s a nightmare and the chances of it working are very minimal!!!, anyway in this video let’s see if this cxt multitool performs and what this inside components are like #cordlessdrill #diy #tools #powertools #multitool #makita #building

the same construction is on some of the blue bosch corded straight grinders and makita- plastic/nylon i think in betweten the gears - im sure its there to be replace in case of jamed tool to as a sacrafice spare part to not destry gears -same construction on home AGD meat grinders of bosch its meant to be destroyed and stop the gears to protect the user

Strangely thought that the 12v cut better than your 18v 🤷‍♂️. Great video mate 👍☕️

Mmmmmm that’s a great question!!!! At a guess it’s because of the metal used ie very hard and the pin. Connector bit which needs to have pretty much zero tolerance, that said yes they are still to expensive 🤟🤟
