I was thinking the same. I don't hear a distinctive voice when she sings if that makes sense. Plus, she's slightly more consistent in terms of support. While Mori is comfortable and can control her higher belts quite well, she isn't as relaxed as Ariana is (meaning that there is more tension in her singing than there is in Ari's beyond a certain point).

I'm a Filipino pero Ariana pa rin kasi many times akong na shook sa boses nya yun nga lang yung mga pinakita sa video is yung mga times na baguhan pa siya. Ariana is a pop singer but she has the best vocals in the pop industry that's why she really stands out. While Mori is a r & b and ballader that's why i found it unfair na i-compare sila kasi si Ari sumasayaw habang kumakanta while si Mori is nakatayo lang or naglalakad lakad lang sa stage. Overall: Technical and Vocal wise- Mori High Notes- Tie but i prefer Ari because of her ease and maraming beses na akong napanganga sa kanya di nga lang shinowcase sa video na ito. @Karhl Alecer Not really. Other than resonance (squillo/ring), she doesn't have anything over Ariana. Ariana's vibrato is just as well-controlled as Mori's, if not better. Plus, she's slightly more consistent in terms of support. While Mori is comfortable and can control her higher belts quite well, she isn't as relaxed as Ariana is (meaning that there is more tension in her singing than there is in Ari's beyond a certain point).

I'm a Filipino pero Ariana pa rin kasi many times akong na shook sa boses nya yun nga lang yung mga pinakita sa video is yung mga times na baguhan pa siya. Ariana is a pop singer but she has the best vocals in the pop industry that's why she really stands out. While Mori is a r & b and ballader that's why i found it unfair na i-compare sila kasi si Ari sumasayaw habang kumakanta while si Mori is nakatayo lang or naglalakad lakad lang sa stage.
Overall:
Technical and Vocal wise- Mori
High Notes- Tie but i prefer Ari because of her ease and maraming beses na akong napanganga sa kanya di nga lang shinowcase sa video na ito.
Musicality wise- Ari of course kasi kahit anong genre kaya nya although light soprano lang siya. In the other hand, Mori needs more songs that will showcase her flexibility in diff. genres because as of now yung r & b and ballad are her forte.
Whistle tones- Mori ofc kasi airy yung whistles ni Ari then weak tapos di nya na masyadong ginagamit dahil sa comparison nila ni MC. Alam naman natin na forte talaga ni Mori ang pagwhiwhistle.
Falsettos- Ari kasi rare lang ginagamit ni Mori ang falsettos niya although its rich and powerful, i prefer Ari's because super airy lang na gustong gusto ko.
Stamina and Enunciation- Mori ofc kasi ito yung weakness ni Ari eh.
Overall, Mori wins but Ari is my fav.
