I remember staying in my empty house after being evicted, most of my things moved, watching Obsessive Pop Culture disorder on my phone.. I was thoroughly depressed, but dumb internet videos are always a welcome and calming distraction. I didn't know at the time that I'd miss this group's content so much. I've followed them all to their various channels, but it's heartwarming seeing them all in a throwback video at the place I discovered them.
For a moment i thought these people were back and i was so happy. I like the new content but there was a magic to this time, just like for many of the college humor years, and then live happened and people disappeared and some things were lost to never be had again... Still glad for the throwbacks though
Cracked unceremoniously shit-canned all these people, and now the company is reuploading old content to profit off of the people they fired. Seems gross to me.
@@benworth3521 Just try to remember that the company that did the shit-canning was NOT the same company that's doing the re-uploading; Cracked has passed hands a few times, and the fact that all the different owners wore the same face-mask brand-name doesn't mean they're the same entity.
I got stupid excited when I saw Soren on the thumbnail, but my heart broke when I moused over and saw D.O.B., as I realized the truth. Then I remembered Jordan's here and everything's all better.
Dammit! My assassination attempts have failed! On God... not Jordan. Jordan has a series of clones underneath Cracked's TH-cam's HQ... so like everybody has killed at least a couple of Jordans by now
"Oh, I also haven't said anything for a while." So true, this happens so much in shows. The need to put a character speaking just so they can be present and acknowledged by the viewer. But the worst is the opposite really: when minor characters interact with the main ones and the minor ones don't say a word even though in a real life interaction like that a normal person would most likely talk in that situation. It's so weird. It's like the main characters live in a world full of NPCs. Family Guy does this a lot. I guess it's for the sake of the joke not draw attention to the feelings and thoughts of other people so we can laugh without feeling guilty.
I like that you're good with remembering the before times instead of pretending none of that happened for corp... synergy, or whatever. This was oddly and sadly prescient though.
Hope y'all are passing something onto the people who actually made this. Also the irony of cracked reposting a series that starts with everyone got fired suddenly any without any forewarning

Also, you're talking in the singular, does that mean Cracked got a hold of it's IP? Might we see new stuff with some of the old crew? Occasionally of course, they've all since built up some sizeable projects since then.
Sometimes I forget that I first watched Cody on Cracked lol. And I can't tell you how much I enjoy that cracked is back. When I saw the very first YBOC episode I was worried it was a fluke or something, and that it wouldn't get the views and that the channel would die again. I am so very glad that's not what happened
There was a post saying that throwback uploads were coming up for this channel due to old videos needing to be taken down. Something about old copyright claims on old videos. But why would these old episodes need to be taken down? Tons of videos on this channel use small clips from TV or movie, but these episodes don't.
