After the long awaited maintenance being done on his new boat (antifoul and major leg service) John finally got to see how fast the BAYLINER can go. needless to say he was over the moon with the results.
31 KNOTS! It's a monster!!! Nice work guys. Also a very classy way to respond to the troll from the last video. Very enjoyable as usual. I'm not sure whether you kept any records of fuel consumption pre and post hull clean but would be very interesting methinks.
Compared to my last boat that had a top speed of 7 knots, this really does fly. I know we all get trolls on here, but that comment really pushed my buttons. I didnt keep records of fuel usage before and after, although that would have been a very interesting idea. I have just become resigned to the fact that i will be using a hell of alot more fuel from now on.
Yeh mate I’d be very happy with that speed! Hope you used a king life antifoul then you can just have a diver clean it in about 10mths and you may get 3years out of it. When you lift again and because I’m fussy and you talk about maintenance have the hull machine polished and redo the black stripe. I taped , sanded and repainted my mates black stripe on his 44footer and it looks great. Maintenance maintenance and the resale value will stay high!!! You can polish topside yourself and buy some chrome cleaner to clean railings of tea leaves and bring back the shine. Well done your boat screams!! 👍👍
Thanks mate. I cant believe how good she is running. The guys at the marina said the antifoul should definitely last 2 years on the hull. The leg can be hit and miss... the leg may need to be done in 12 months. I would have loved to get a machine polish done but they squeezed me in and i was lucky to get it done when i did. I will definitely get it done next time, but for now, i will be focusing on cleaning up the topsides.
Good video guys, the boat looks awesome!
@user-tl3bt9xc1t Thanks mate, we appreciate the support
