I’ve been studying for my Comptia a+ cert, to land my first help desk position. In my studies, I hadn’t fully made the connection between how and why the RG6 cable is used. But you showed the RG6s line from the pole (which goes to the ISP and to the home) and pointed out the cable the cable you needed to replace because of intermittent connection issues at minute (8:50), that’s when my readings on Docsis all started to make sense. This job isn't for everyone. Depending on where you live. It can be HOT in the summer and freezing in the winter and the show doesn't stop. Climbing ladders, crawl spaces and attics are part of the job. You encounter bugs, snakes, etc. You come across homes that smell like piss with roaches crawling everywhere (Best you can hope is one doesn't crawl on you and get a ride to your house).

Make sure you get the one that makes the noise
There are some that will pop at the screen when finding tone but the thing is that sometimes
Specially in apartment complexes where they have about 20 cables coming from the place, you might get the same tone from different apartments,

I seen the filter at the ground block on one job. The others don’t need moca filter if it’s just internet only. The moca filter helps most with dvr/video services so that the equipment doesn’t interfere with other customers equipment hooked up to the same plant (tap). Better at the ground block than the tap, it has a smaller distance to travel to get filtered.
