I love you Denon 👏 Now please bring Serato DJ support finally! The unit is out for almost a year now. I want to switch from my DDJ-SR and need a portable 2-in-1 solution. I am sure many SR/SX/RX users would appreciate it.
I have visited your "Denondj" page many times to know what is new, and until now, I have noticed that you are missing something very, very important for all your equipment, and that is, the official case / cover for your controllers or digital turntables /mixers etc, the only one I've seen that has it all is "Native Instruments", they have their own travel case/bag, for their own controllers. but you guys don't have your own travel case/bag, for your own controllers, or if you do, I haven't seen them anywhere. If I had to buy the "Denon Prime 4" I would like its "Travel Case" to also be from Denon Dj with the logo stuck on the box, just like the ones from "Native Instruments"
This is awesome. Can your music library and Soundswitch files exist on the same media (SD card or USB stick)? I ask because you might want to record your set, in which case you'd need a card/USB slot for that too
I must be missing a step - if I want Soundswitch to read my internal hard drive on the Prime2 will the ethernet connection read it? Or do I have to switch the Prime unit to computer mode connect it via USB?
I have a serious question and hope to get an answer, can i just autoscript my whole music library, save it as a file, transport it to my hard drive stick it in my mixstream pro and play ? Will it work or i will have to plug ethernet cable to my mbp?
can I use sound switch with my Prime 4 without having a laptop connected? ( The main reason I bought my Prime 4 was to cut out the laptop and have a cleaner set up) can the Prime 4 analyze the tracks to create the beat grid and autoscripting?
The prime software is garbage. I would truly recommend you dont buy a prime 4 stand alone purly because of the software. It miss analizes tracks causing all kinds of problems. .. such as bpm . It also counts bars in 5s not 4s . So for instance a change might happen on bar 8 as per norm or 16 . Not on prime it changes on5 ..9 0r 17 or The software is letting this unit down big time . Dont waste your money .
