Yeah. A friend of mine saw them last Summer or so and noticed that he was struggling to hit the notes like before. It was still a good show but not the same as what once was.
Half the issue is his age, and half is that Bon Jovi as a band is treated like a business which keeps relentlessly going and doing far too many shows for what his vocals can handle. Chances are he'll be reigning it in for the first half of a tour, then going all out in the middle, and likely blowing his throat out for the last leg. He'll need to start doing it more as a hobby with a few select shows and just filming it.
@@Syklonus I remember him saying that he used to take steroids for his voice back in the New Jersey Tour. They were so burned out that they went their separate ways for a while after that.
I know beck was supposed to be an amazing guitarist, but it’s not like Jon didn’t already work with one of the best guitarists in Richie sambora. Just seems like a disrespectful way to go.
