      This video is definitely on the higher end time wise of how long I want my videos to be these days but there was just so much that happened on this flight and I cut down 50 minutes of raw footage to 20 so glad you found everything helpful!

    Good review of Luf. Flew business class with them for the first time Sept of last year (2021). A320 from Nice to Frankfurt, full breakfast on an sub 2hr flight, which surprised me (no seat mate). Then the seat mate from hell FRA-ORD on a 747-8 upper deck. Never flown on a -8 before so that was a small plus. I had window, so I could try to ignore her fumbling with her stuff. She dropped something in her seat before we even pushed back, then another time prior to the first meal service. The FA that assisted her looked at me and I had “help me” look on my face lol. Went to the bathroom and when I came out she was there in the galley and she said she was sorry about all that, I simply replied, just keep the Riesling coming and I’ll be ok🤣.
    As for the clearness in the LA basin, a storm must have just blown through, it’s never that clear (unless the Santa Anna winds were blowing, which would be bad for that time of year), grew up in sandog.
    Doing the Austrian business from ORD-VIE later this year, hoping to get a Thrown seat. I’ll have to do a review of that.

    Regarding the food, I like that you each select something different so we get to see a variety of what is available. I also note that the selections are not the same few foods offered on American planes, but are (as they should be) a German menu. Although I see comments faulting the presentation, we're still recovering from the Covid restrictions, so this may change. I also note that the awkward seat layout is due for replacement.
    In other reviews, questions have been raised about why Lufthansa is rated as five-star, and I can see why. Some other airlines do Business Class better.

    • @TheAircraftKing
      @TheAircraftKing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your comment. The problem is that Lufthansa has the five star rating from sky trax is based off a seat that’s not even in service yet and won’t be in service for a long time. They got the five star rating right after Lufthansa released the new seat that they were going to have, but this is problematic as the five star rating should be based on the product that is there now

    Thanks for the video. Agree that the MUC Business lounge does not have great food. I can't believe they still have these Business seats - no privacy at all. Keep up the good work ✈

    Sorry if I missed this part, but is the appetizer not served differently (separate from main course)? Also, do you have an LH business class review from a US city to Munich?

    • @TheAircraftKing
      @TheAircraftKing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately post Covid that has stayed as a feature of Covid. The separate appetizer course was from before Covid. But I will say the food is still of equal quality and it’s good
      As for a review from a US city to Europe, I don’t have that as most of my travel gets booked on United it just so happens that I needed to fly directly from Munich to Los Angeles on that day and it was a last second change off of United and I managed to get on Lufthansa

    This is a modern A350 and by now all seats in business class should have aisle access. To get up for bathroom breaks (many on such a long flight) you have to jump on the other passenger.

    • @TheAircraftKing
      @TheAircraftKing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      100% agreed, the seats are outdated and a thing of 10 years ago. Hopefully Lufthansa’s new seats can hurry up and make its way around the entire fleet. Though I suppose many many years until that happens

    Nice video. Lufthansa meals are way much much better than your United meals. I just hope that we can have Lufthansa on our departure flight and United on return flight or vice versa. 1 hr. 20 minutes layover in Munich might not be enough considering transfer to L Terminal and security check.
    We are not counting on lounges because of very short layovers of most schedules. I wish it's 3-4 hours layover.

    • @TheAircraftKing
      @TheAircraftKing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry I’m just seeing this. And yes my experience is that lufthansa does have better meals than United. Just got off a Lufthansa Frankfurt to LA business class flight yesterday (video months away from being made), and the food was once again plated better and more flavorful than your average united meal. Hope you do get to enjoy the lounge even with a shorter layover :)

    Hey my friend, nice video, thanks for it. Regarding the service, there is a question: Why is Lufthansa serving all courses together? Is the so called "Restaurant service" now history, because of corona or similar ridiculous excuses?

    • @TheAircraftKing
      @TheAircraftKing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I think it’s all a Corona excuse change. Hopefully they change course and get back to the way things were but let’s see I’m not sure anything will change soon, but then again i don’t follow Lufthansa news updates as closely as United

    • @TheAircraftKing

      This flight did have wifi but I was in full relaxation mode on this flight, no work as I had finished a lot of work in the past few days on this trip so I took this flight to relax so I’m not too sure to be honest about the wifi but from what I’ve heard from others it’s not that great and it can take time to connect but when it connects it’s decent.

    • @TheAircraftKing
      @TheAircraftKing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@randomyoutubevideos3503 I don’t think United is flying into Mumbai right now with the ongoing Russia situation since the return flight is too long to operate given the aircrafts that United has without using Russian Airspace. So I would take Lufthansa.
      The only way I see you flying United is flying Chicago to Delhi on united and then taking a connecting on Vistara or air India to Mumbai

  • @robertgonzales3936
    @robertgonzales3936 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    thank you for sharing but LH service sucks look the way they serve their meals everything on one tray I flew other airlines during a pandemic and they had full service this is not acceptable I don't want to talk about their seat which is really outdated.

    • @TheAircraftKing
      @TheAircraftKing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree the seat is really a poor choice for business class. LH is not a leisure airline and this shouldn’t be the standard.
      With that said yes they definitely should go back to multiple courses, but going forward I’m not sure many airlines will return back to the way it used to be. Too much overhead. I fly United the most frequently and I have heard from numerous insiders now that for the foreseeable future meals will all be on one tray and I can’t imagine other airlines aren’t also thinking the same way.
      All of the food being served on one tray was definitely not ideal but doesn’t take away from the fact that the food was still tasty. With that being said I would love it if everything was the way it was pre-pandemic however I think this is the new normal that unfortunately we will have to get used to for the majority. Some airlines will go above and beyond, but the ones that don’t it’ll just have to be the way it is now
