Hi Kiza! I've been grinding for sub-10 recently and your videos have been helping me out! Most of the speedruns I've watched involve the binder nova skip when the skull on the map appears. Whenever I bind Fatalis and do helmbreaker and spirit combos during that point, it usually isn't enough to finish him off and he goes flying to do the final nova, leaving me consistently stuck in the mid-10 to 11 minutes. I have a question, how long or how much more damage after the skull appears will you use the second binder on him? Thank you in advance! :)
When the skull icon appears, it shows that Fatalis' hp has reached under 10% which equals IS > spirit combo > ISS. The ISS in that combo will have to be performed after fatty is released from the bind and his head comes back down. What would help confirm the damage is if you are able to get an evasion proc before shooting the 2nd bind.

@Kiza_ Thank you for the tips, Kiza! Man, it's going to be tough pulling off that last binder under pressure when you know you've been doing great all throughout, then proceed to whiff spirit thrust because Fatty keeps shaking his noodle-neck. Especially more tedious when he's far away and spamming fireballs xD. The difficulty gap between breaking 10 and breaking 11 or 12 is brutally huge, and I've hit a plateau. This is definitely a strong wall to break and puts more into perspective how elites like you are leagues above having times half of that. Hopefully, I get my breakthrough at least once in this lifetime hahaha! Figured I'd ask from the best. Thank you again, legend Kiza-san! I'll do my very best! :)

I haven't changed the sound effect of the longsword counters, it's the vanilla sfx, perhaps you downloaded a mod that replaces the sfx?

The red word during my counters is one of the visual effects from the sekiro LS mod on nexusmods.com :)
