Thanks - good short review. Looking to buy a drone and this is one I am considering.
A decent start in this new size range. between this, Mavic, Yuneec Breeze, Wingsland 6 etc there will be a lot of decent tech stuffed into the sub 250 grams category to get under the FAA weight limits for registering a drone. We'll be seeing some big improvements in this micro drone market this year.
This is a drone I would buy, because it seems very portable and relatively capable. Thanks for the review.

Nice little recon drone. Surprised on the RTH and machine vision. The UI looks a little like DJI's hud.actually so do the motors... hmm interesting either same factor or something else is going on
I jus bought one on impulse at bestbuy and I can say for a fact the video quality is pretty Damn good when you review your pics and vids TH-cam always down scales the resolution for some reason the 4k vid is pretty good since it's just electronically stabilized pretty my the same as my breeze

Hello .. ThanX for posting this interesting video .. we travel to many destinations worldwide (cycling trips) .. I am responsible for video montage .. most of my filming is done with camera (50%) .. GoPro (30%) and hopefully 20% Drone footage .. how well does it perform in ORBIT mode and FOLLOW ME mode .. also the Pull OUT mode (journey) is a meet feature .. are you fully satisfied with this unit .. Regards

Too expensive for what it is imo. For a little more you can get a Phantom 3, or even wait for it to go on sale. I've seen it for under $400 several times in the last month.

People are bitching about the flight time, which isn't horrible for a drone this size. It's all relative to your need. I agree the phantom blows this away in features and quality, but portability sucks. It's too invasive for my needs.
I travel for work a ton and to have something fit in my pocket that has all these features is pretty nice for folks like me. I'll agree that 399 is too much though. I think 275 is fair. I've seen it as low as 330 several times. They've made a bold choice at this price point.
Also, there are other vids online that show better vid quality than what seems to be portrayed here. Less jerky, better stabilization and quality.
I hate to say this but the video quality is not that good. Especially for that price! But I do like how small it is :)

I have one of these. Its camera does look shitty when you are looking at its video on the screen but when transferred it to my phone and laptop it's not really bad. Actually it's good.

the pocket drone that doesnt suck???? for 300? with video quality worse then my nokia 3310... i would have a better luck ductaping a potato to a paper airplane and the video quality would still be better and more stable
