One way of looking at the revelation that Abraham received: When Isaac carried the wood for the altar: Yeshua, carrying the Cross, the instrument through which salvation would be secured. Abraham building the altar in faith represents the altar of the Cross, through which salvation comes by faith. Abraham binding Isaac: the revelation of Yeshua bound to the Cross. Although our father Abraham didn't have to sacrifice his son, our HEAVENLY Father, Jehovah Jireh in His love for us did sacrifice His only Son, the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world. For us He has provided eternal redemption.

Wow!!! My Sister in Christ I am truly enjoying these Wisdom Wednesday's. Because God truly does share Devine Wisdom through you. "Last Minute Help from God" is an amazing and timely title. I really heard God saying so much as you spoke. God desires for us to trust Him and His word, so much that when He give us instructions we can't understand that we simply respond in obedience. God said some pretty amazing things through you. Example: "Catch up with the Spirit". We can be so distracted by the things of this world that we fall behind in the Spirit. Abraham did not let the instructions from God deter his spiritual synchronization. He remained synched to the Spirit. When God give us instructions that seems contrary to His promises, this is a time to stretch our Faith in Him. Abraham proved to God that he was a humble man with the level of capacity to obtain the blessings of God with remembrance and total reliance on God. His willingness to sacrifice the only way to the promise God made him proved to God that he was ready for the blessings He promised. Abraham exemplified this in his communication with his son as well. He spoke with great faith, he didn't trust his heart, but rather he trusted God and the words He promised him. As a result he experienced what God want each of us to experience as well because what looks like the last minute to us is right on time for God.
