JWilliams81 Indeed. One of the few automobiles ever built that is totally dependable almost 99.99999% of the time. If she sits for 3 months no problem just make sure the battery turn her over and she's off a running. I've seen these cars sit for 20 years or longer and be pulled out and within a few hours are up an running around. Edsel Ford was the driving force behind the design of the model a. Henry really never wanted to stop producing the model t at the time. His had was forced when all of the other car makers were out classing them so he gave in and got behind the model a. Edsel Ford wanted hydraulic brakes on the model A's as well but Henry was still running things and kept the mechanical brakes. Edsel had been promoted to CEO of Ford but Henry still called the shots. Through savvy actions he managed to buy back all the stock in his company and owned it out right so he could do whatever he wished. His innovations were truly amazing and the engineering that went into the model a shows because of how well these cars have endured the test of time. How many other cars can boast that..... I can not think of a single other automobile that has as many working driving examples still on the road today. Ford manufactured these cars in England, Russia, South America, and several other places truly bringing a practical auto to everyone world-wide. I can't wait till I find the right one for myself!

Thanks. I have since painted the wheels back to factory black and gotten black wall tires. But I still drive her everyday!
