@@DORAisD34D In 2004 Disney had lots of imagination and stuff worth releasing. You cut the budget for the sequels if you have "better" things to put out. Does Disney have the next "Incredibles" quality movie idea hidden away and just waiting for funding?
That could mean two things. Either they developed a story so good that they believed it was worthy of a theatrical budget or They didn't have the patience to make a whole show, so they slapped a couple of episodes together and rushed it into theatres.
@@donathan2933 i love that idea too. And it would be a great oportunity to expand their mythology in a natural way, while Moana is travelling through the islands.
That was my thought when I heard this. I know he’s going to make a video showing his reaction to the trailer (and of course, hope his favorite character of all time gets a bigger role in the sequel.)
Disney in 2016: Releases Moana Also Disney: Will eventually release a Live Action Remake only 9 years after the original. ALSO Disney: Releases AND announces a sequel the year before the remake. Micheal De Santa (GTA V): *YOU'RE INSANE!!!*
I cannot believe how much sequels we are getting this year. We’re getting Kung Fu Panda 4(I’m especially excited for this one), Megamind 2, Inside out 2, Despicable Me 4, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and now this? I wonder which will be the most successful.
I'm excited for sequel it's woke live action remakes that are disappointing . It's so fun to explore a much loved franchise further with a sequel but pushing out remakes with unnecessary political agenda is the issue. I'm really excited at the possibilities a sequel may bring but apprehensive over yet another live action remake.
I honestly can't bring myself to. I'm far, FAR too scared this (frankly unnecessary) sequel could tarnish Moana’s legacy. It's one of my favorite animated films of all time, and it's incredibly sacred to me.
So, we're getting an animated sequel... then a live action remake? What's next, a live-action remake of the sequel? (Wait, Disney, that was a joke!) Cautiously optimistic is the way to feel about this. I'm all for sequels when there's a good story to tell. I'd love to see Moana train more wayfinders, and maybe take on a love interest in the process... There's certainly potential here.
I was definitely taken off guard by this announcement too. As disappointed as I am with Lin not writing new songs for the movie, it wasn’t a surprise since this was meant to be a series and I doubt he was attached to writing songs for a series. I wonder if he’ll write new songs for any other upcoming movies though.
I'd be surprised about that, since D+ shows were probably given higher priority and better quality vs a TV series. In any case, I do hope LMM does more musicals for Disney--and the Anderson-Lopez team (besides Frozen).
Tarzan & Jane, Atlantis: Milo’s Return, Belle’s Magical World. If Moana 2 is just all the episodes of the Moana series from Disney+ combined, it will be worse than Raya and the Last Dragon 🐉.
I'm terrified about this with the state of Disney tbh, especially because I love the first movie, I want to believe but Disney makes it really difficult.
I more on the concern side.....without John Musker and Ron Clements and as much I personally not love him, Lin Manuel Miranda, are KEY factors that bring Moana to a major success, without them, I not think this will be good, also, this was suppose to be a TV SHOW? And now is repurpose to be a movie?....that ain't sounds like a winning combo......this all sounds concerning, also....Dwayne Johnson is in what I describe....PANIC MODE, trying to get any of his big ideas over because of his ego....failed in DC, now wants Moana live action, even announce it himself, this now happen and currently, trying to get ownership of WWE, booking himself into a main event at Wrestlemania over the beloved Cody Rhodes, created a crisis with fans that now are booing him on Monday night Raw and THIS ANNOUNCED HAPPEN.......plus Disney desperation to get another hit......not sure man if I can be excited, Moana worked because passionate people wanted to tell THAT STORY, now it seems to be just a cash grab, nothing else, just because the movie was more popular than Frozen in D+, I'm going to be very concern of the final results of this film.
Many many passionate people are working on this film. Two directors do not make up the entire creative team that determine how “good” a film is. Writers, supervisors, artists, consultants, producers.. they are connected in the creative process and make many decisions together. And many of them are working on this movie again. ❤️
@@brewster9235 Many passionate people worked on Wish too and look how that turned out. As long as the executives keep getting in the way, Disney is doomed to keep on failing.
@@brewster9235 it is strange the original directors aren’t returning for a sequel though. Even for frozen 2 and zootopia 2 the original directors are on the project
Heard about this while leaving school this afternoon and my jaw dropped! I am kinda sad Disney has less hope in original films after Wish’s failure, seems like the next few years will be full of sequels especially from WDAS. Don’t have a lot of hope in Moana 2 since the original didn’t leave much room for a sequel and ofc the track record isn’t that great but we’ll see how it goes in November.
What's interesting is that we had 4 original animated Disney movies after Frozen 2 and now we're getting 4 sequels Also they revealed that ten projects are in development, including films based upon original ideas
I know people that work at Disney animation. There’s no confirmation all these sequels are coming out back to back. There are still originals they are working on.
I knew that they would make a Moana 2, because the film industry is too sacred in making new ideas any more, I just did not know that it would happen now in the year 2024.
I am so shocked too and also with there being a live action film too. Also are we gonna get like 3 back to back Disney sequels for Disney animation that being Moana 2 then frozen 3 and zootopia 2
I’m exited because considering how much the first movie was able to d draw from Polynesian mythologies, I’m excited to see who they can bring next. Maybe it will include Maui’s brothers, or any number of gods from Māori, Hawaiian and Samoan stories.
I would kill for a Wreck It Ralph 2 that's not Breaks the Internet. The world of Litwak's arcade that the original movie established is full of possibilities to make it a fully-fledged universe on to itself.
This doesn’t feel like a money grab movie situation. If feels strange to have this Teaser suddenly appear out of the blue, when Disney has a record of announcing moving even years ahead of development, like Frozen 3, 4, Zootopia 2 and the Live Action Moana. Suddenly announcing a new movie especially one that was as popular as Moana with an animated teaser?! It’s a different pattern that what we are used to from Disney. I am cautiously optimistic.
@@lexramstudios1386 Ah, that makes more sense. Disney announced the Moana, and Encanto series around the same time. Okay, so guess the only surprise bit was a full length movie.
Now we need Schaffrillas’ reaction and I don’t know if Tamatoa will return and have a major role, but if he doesn’t…. 😬 I hate to imagine how Schaff will react.
I haven't even watched the first movie yet but from what I've heard it didn't really need a sequel. Right now my faith in Disney is at an all-time low and they're going to have to do A LOT more to win me back than serving up reheated leftovers of their past successes, they're going to need a new Renaissance and I just don't see that happening in the foreseeable future.
Moana is probably one of my favorite modern heroines from Disney and idk how I feel about it becoming a sequel. Like what's the premise for the story? Are we seeing the sea fairing roots coming back or are we seeing them settling on another island and another mishap that needs to be taken care of? With The Rock being in it we know Maui comes back so is it him causing the trouble or is his role something different? Moana is a strong female character herself so is she going to be overshadowed by Maui's presence or is she going to default to the Disney classic trope? So many questions and obviously not very much time to take it all in.
This Surprised Me as Well as all I knew about Moana’s Future was a Series and a Live Action Performance and Honestly I’m hoping those were Cover Ups for a Disney Sequel we’re hoping for Year, if that was the Case then that is Brilliant Set Up, let’s hope it’s better than Ralph Breaks the Internet and Frozen 2, weird enough it drops close to my Birthday.
You know, I like sequels but man this is too much. What’s surprised me the most is that there’s gonna be a Polar Express 2 because the original was supposed to be kept original.
It surprised me too. Things are getting really weird here especially since a year ago, they already announced the remake until this sequel happened. What’s the point?
I think they should go back to classic and known stories. There are so many fairytales they could adapt. Maybe with a little twist, but nothing too far off. Just the good old fairytale stories.
this is Good People often overlook the remarkable quality of the films that artists have been creating throughout the years. However, it is time for everyone to take a step back and truly appreciate the work that has been produced throughout all the years
0:56 ...I loved Frozen 2 and Wreck It Ralph 2. I can't help it. I love disney and pixar animated movies. And I think the animation in Frozen 2 was simply astounding. Everything looked, well, magical. Not to mention the soundtrack was also fantastic. The Next Right Thing, Into The Unknown, Show Yourself, JESUS I adored those songs! And while I admit I didn't LOVE Wish, I *did* love Moana, which is probably why I'm so excited for the second one
Frozen 2 had some good things in it. But when i only fondly remember 3 songs and a bit of the scene around it, i think it's failed. The song with the reindeer? I know it instantly annoyed me but i don't actively remember it. It didn't help that it felt like multiple rewrites happening as the movie progressed (same as the frozen world in khiii where all signs point to elsa being the main antagonist in the world until it changes to "this guy you've never met kidnapped elsa and turns into an ice wolf you need to defeat" story) Ralph2 was more meh in my eyes. Wasn't enthused by the reverting of character traits from the first, the time wasted on memes, and ralph's utter childishness compared to the first movie. I haven't seen wish. I was willing to give it a chance but then ended up seeing people give their 2 cents and couldn't make myself try. I enjoy kids' movies and stupid can be funny, but the songs rubbed me the wrong way (likely due to pop influence when i don't appreciate pop that much) and i didn't think i'd be hyped with tons of references to other properties. Moana, though? I liked that movie. Saw it a number of times, even. Still sing along with the soundtrack (even shiny, which i didn't like as much when it came out). But i've been burned too many times. I'll let some disney flubs live in my brain for free and won't even charge them rent. But the flubs are constant and getting to the point of not being worth admission
My conspiracy theory is that Disney looked at the disappointing returns of Strange World and Wish, and made the decision to make the series into a movie based on that. I wouldn't even be surprised if the movie was only greenlit a few weeks ago. I imagine the studio is in a rush now to increase the animation quality.
Guys, if this was originally going to be a series that they made into a movie, then it's probably not going to be good unless they changed their minds really early into production. Remember the Disney sequels that were originally pilots for animated series? If you don't, I don't blame you. With that history and this being such a sudden announcement, all I'm saying is just don't get your hopes up.
To be more accurate, the actress wanted to be in the live action, but the woke racists caused a stink saying she was too white and didn't look "Hawaiian Enough" even though she WAS Hawaiian and spoke the language, so Disney bent the knee to them and replaced her, leaving her as an "advisor" of sorts.
People give a lot of flack to mixed-race actors for playing certain roles because they aren't (insert minority) enough. I recall a similar controversy when Henry Goulding starred in "Crazy Rich Asians."
@@OpticalSorcerer Which is pretty ridiculous. The same thing happened in Ms. Marvel when the casted mother was only Muslim and not some kind of mixed ethnicity or whatever. These guys seriously don't realize they're the enemy they keep claiming to be fighting against, when all they see is race and skin color, not reality.
@@Gameboy0001 I understand wanting to match the race of a major character when you're adapting a story (it's part of the visual), but you'd think original roles would be more inclusive. If the PI community didn't want Auli'i to play Moana, fine, but saying she she wasn't enough (despite her heritage and culture) is just ridiculous. You'd think she could be involved some way. Hopefully she makes a cameo.
@@OpticalSorcerer Yet funny enough that flies out the window when it comes to "certain genders and skin color". Though even in voice acting, people were super gung ho about forcing only the "proper" people to voice certain roles, but the second they themselves were told they could only voice their own races, they started complaining. People have completely forgotten what fiction is these days.
@@Gameboy0001 Yeah, it's not something I agree with, especially since voice acting is supposed to disregard skin color/race (though I can understand why some projects that are culturally linked may want someone of the same background as the character simply out of formality).
tbh i don't really care, moana and encanto are the only good disney movies since 2016 and the only reason disney is doing this is because people haven't liked their movies lately, to get my trust back they need to have decent origanal movies to come out cause all this is just a sequel so even if it's good i will still feel the same about disney animated movies as right now
Just for context; the sequel was in development for years just as a Disney Plus miniseries. Sometimes between 2021 and 2022 it seems they decided to change course and keep it under raps until now.
@@manuelorozco7760 actually according to Auli’i Carballo they’ve been working on the sequel as it is for a better half of two years and Dwayne said he’s been involved since the conceptual stage of the series before it was retooled into a film circa 2022
*sigh* I really hope they don't end up ruining it like they have in the past because they want to ruin a phenomenon of very popular movies last century. Don't get me wrong, they're good movies and we gotta take the good with the bad. I just hope it won't cause another fandom to fall apart if that makes sense?.
I heard about the series. I was just surprised that they announced a whole movie ten months before release. disney usually announces their upcoming movie slate two-three years in advance
@@mrsturtevant1 I’m surprised and I don’t understand either. That’s why until we get more info, I’m on the fence about this. And Disney has been hit and miss the last couple years.
That's for sure. Anyway I've been really bitter towards them for the way they've (again) treated Pixar. I've been boycotting disney for the past couple years anyway
I hope it’s good, my almost two year old is obsessed with Moana, she loves the music and has a few toys of the characters. Her first Disney Princess and her favorite still!
This is so unexpected, my fear is that it will be rushed and will not be good. Disney has been lacking in creativity and trying to milk what worked in the past. Like the sequels or midquel era
It honestly sounds better than the Life action, Im still skeptical, but if they gonna add more elements to Polynesian mythology to expand the story, that definitely would be something, as a fan of both moana and Mythology Like literally, a sequel sounds much better than a life action movie that wants to be exactly like the original but life action as The rock said

I'm excited just as much as i am frightened. The aforementioned Megamind "2" horrifies me to no bounds knowing the shameless corporate greed oozing from modern animation studios. 2023 was an amazing film canon and we've been shot out of it. Moana and Encanto should be the ones getting sequels and franchises, not that overrated mediocre piece of sleet!!! just imagine an Encanto sequel directed by the same guys as Aladdin and Hercules. that would be one way of making Encanto greater than it is currently
encanto is one movie I truly think would work better as a series than a sequel. The hook of that movie was mainly the songs and character dynamics and I feel like a classic adventure plot would take away from what people loved about the original. Like how they did for tangled I think a series is a great way to expand the universe and learn more about the characters!
@@lilac3266 true that! With Disney's track record over the last few years, I can't say I'm optimistic. This was the last Disney movie where I genuinely felt joy, it actually managed to crack my cynical, grownup shell and now they're going to milk it to death. Although it probably won't be half as bad as the live action remake, so I guess that's something 😐
I wish I could be as optimistic as you but ever since I’ve watched the Making of Frozen 2 documentary and knowing the insane production nightmare going on with Wish, I’m scared that this is going to be yet another repeat. I really hate late stage capitalism.
I just hope that in the movie of Shrek 5, once Disney buys DreamWorks, all The Official Disney Princes and all The Official Disney Princesses appear, especially the most important character in the Prince Hugo, Princess Sofia, Princess Raya, Princess Mirabel Madrigal, Namaari, The Other Six Princesses of The Kingdom of Atlantica and Melody, but actually, Melody is The First and Only that she is not a True Official Disney Princess, because Melody made her debut in the movie of The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea and it is also because she is The First and Only Daughter of an Official Disney Princess, but Shrek, Princess Fiona, Donkey, Dragon, Puss in Boots, Kitty Softpaws, Perrito, Dulcinea, The Three Diablos, Goldilocks, The Three Bears, Prince Lancelot, Princess Tiffany, King Artie, Princess Guinevere, The Children of Shrek and Princess Fiona: Fergus, Farkle and Felicia, The Children of Donkey and Dragon: Bananas, Parfait, Peanut, Eclair, Coco and Debbie and The Others Villains of DreamWorks, because Melody is The Daughter of Prince Eric and Princess Ariel, but also The Death of Queen Lillian, because since her husband named King Harold passed away in the movie of Shrek 3, she has felt heartbroken and that caused her own death in her Kingdom of Far Far Away, and all The Inhabitants of The Kingdom of Far Far Away are saddened by The Death of Queen Lillian, because now she is with her husband named King Harold in heaven, and now they have lost their queen, that means now The Kingdom of Far Far Away needs a new queen and King Artie said that his love love with Prince Lancelot and Princess Guinevere is going to fall in love with King Artie, but they don't know how to tell them their feelings towards them and neither how to win their hearts, because every time Queen Moana Waialiki gets too close to Maui when it comes to true love, she gets very nervous with him, while which in the case of Princess Merida is also the same, because whenever Princess Merida gets too close to Hiccup Haddock when it comes to true love, she also gets very nervous with him, in the case of Princess Tiffany it is also the same, because whenever Princess Tiffany gets too close to Prince Lancelot when it comes to true love, she also gets very nervous around him, and in the case of Princess Guinevere too, because every time Princess Guinevere gets too close to King Artie when it comes to true love, she also gets very nervous around him, but luckily for them, Princess Fiona will help Queen Moana Waialiki to win The Heart of Maui, also Princess Merida to win The Heart of Hiccup Haddock, also Princess Tiffany to win The Heart of Prince Lancelot and also Princess Guinevere to win The Heart of King Artie, and I also want that Jack Frost will be Princess Elsa's love interest and boyfriend and Varian will be Cassandra's love interest and boyfriend, because Jack Frost leaves fall in love with Princess Elsa, but he doesn't know how to tell her his feelings and how to win her heart, because every time Jack Frost gets too close to Princess Elsa when it comes to true love, he gets very nervous with her, because Varian leaves fall in love with Cassandra, but he doesn't know how to tell her his feelings and how to win her heart, because every time Varian gets too close to Cassandra when it comes to true love, he gets very nervous with her, but fortunately for they, Shrek will help Jack Frost to win The Heart of Princess Elsa and also Varian to win The Heart of Cassandra, except Goldilocks, Namaari, Princess Raya and Princess Mirabel Madrigal, because now they will be The Only Official Disney Princesses who do not need to have love interests and who can remain single forever, and also the same for Melody, The Daughter of Prince Eric and Princess Ariel, because like her new adoptive aunts Goldilocks, Namaari, Princess Raya and Princess Mirabel Madrigal, she doesn't need a love interest either, but also The Rivalry of King Members of The Official Disney Princesses and that one day, Princess Tiffany will be The Wife of Prince Lancelot and that they have a family in the future, and that also Princess Guinevere is The Wife of King Artie, that they also have a family and that she becomes The New Queen of Far Far Away in The Future.
Woah woah woah, putting Frozen 2 on the same level as Ralph Breaks the Internet is way too far (I may be biased because I'm a huge fan of the original Frozen, the Broadway musical, and Frozen 2)
If it makes you feel any better, they might delay the remake one at a later year and after all we were surprised that they announced the remake too soon.
honestly i’m just thankful it’s not live action😭 i think the reason im strangely optimistic about this is cuz it’s not going to be ruined by live action.
It probably is coming because it was the most streamed movie I think it was last year out of all the stuff on Disney+ beating out Encanto. So after how much Wish bombed, they're probably thinking that there's no way this would bomb
I’m so shocked this is happening. I’ve never seen this happen before with any big franchise where an announcement and teaser are released at the same time, and the movie comes out in less than a year. Plus the series wasn’t due for another few years. They pushed it forward so much? What’s going on? Is this an emergency tactic after what happened with Wish?
I’m surprised of this development. But I’ve been hoping for nearly a decade now for Moana’s story to continue. And the fact that we’re getting an animated sequel and live action remake is pretty scary. I’ve been a fan of Dwayne Johnson. And he hardly ever makes a mediocre movie! For the time being, I’m neutral for now on whether I’ll see Moana 2 in theaters wait until streaming! At least Wish was a slight improvement from Strange World.
Ok I’ve been reading others reactions, figuring out my own thoughts and I can say this: I can’t blame them. I see a lot of comments saying “can’t they do something original” PARDON!? They have, like for all the 2020s so far (even Lightyear, which while connected to an existing IP was an original story not in that IPs universe) and with the exception of Encanto they’ve all underperformed commercially and critically. So again I can’t blame them for turning to one of their most beloved animated movies of the last decade in an attempt to turn things around. Also, as a lover of animation who knows this company’s history I do have to laugh at the people genuinely thinking Disney will go bankrupt. The 40s, 70s and 2000s have entered that chat.
Regardless if it's a movie or show, I would appreciate if explores a new setting. My biggest disappointment with the 1st movie is that there wasn't much lore or World building or mythological creatures (other than the Kakamora) Just like how Frozen 2 had this Iceland-Canada inspired world, Moana 2 should explore a new region inspired by New Zealand or Easter Island
I imagine so. I guess it's just the show that got cancelled. Seeing as we didn't hear anything about it after it's announcement, I imagine the story was too big to be kept in a show.
LAR Moana would be the closest to the animated original (ie not axing somethings and not adding anything new) LARs of WDAF #50, #53 and #60 would also be bascically identical
I don’t like when TH-camrs say that everyone didn’t like that movie like it’s unanimous or something. Like I enjoyed Wish, Raya and the Last Dragon, and Frozen 2 but saying everyone didn’t like them is wrong. I’m not saying opinions aren’t valid because they absolutely are I think saying everyone agreed with that is wrong.
Disney has addressed the horrible storytelling, and they said they had started focusing too much on delivering messages. so hopefully things will get better from here on out.
Frozen 2 was NOT a failure, you not liking the plot doesn’t make it a failure. It made 200 million more than the original. Also, Lin Manuel Miranda is not taking part in Moana 2.

Why is this how I learned about Moana 2
So, we're getting an animated sequel... then a live action remake? What's next, a live-action remake of the sequel? (Wait, Disney, that was a joke!)
Cautiously optimistic is the way to feel about this. I'm all for sequels when there's a good story to tell. I'd love to see Moana train more wayfinders, and maybe take on a love interest in the process... There's certainly potential here.
I’m not sure if I’m in favor or oppose until we get more info. But I’ve been wanting her story to continue for a long time.
Some of his most successful projects were with Disney. I'm sure he'll be back eventually.
Lin not being involved but instead in the live action remake is much of a shocker
Tarzan & Jane, Atlantis: Milo’s Return, Belle’s Magical World. If Moana 2 is just all the episodes of the Moana series from Disney+ combined, it will be worse than Raya and the Last Dragon 🐉.
im so suprised that the remake wasn't delayed during the 2023 writers and actors strike
It maybe though
I'm terrified about this with the state of Disney tbh, especially because I love the first movie, I want to believe but Disney makes it really difficult.
I agree since Disney has been hit and miss in recent years. And I keep saying they should have kept momentum going since Encanto. But No No No
I more on the concern side.....without John Musker and Ron Clements and as much I personally not love him, Lin Manuel Miranda, are KEY factors that bring Moana to a major success, without them, I not think this will be good, also, this was suppose to be a TV SHOW?

What's interesting is that we had 4 original animated Disney movies after Frozen 2 and now we're getting 4 sequels

The article said that Bob Iger was impressed by the footage for the Moana show so he decided to make it movie.
I was immediately surprised by the announcement…it came out of nowhere 🙀
I love that Disney is now finally making Moana 2!
This is their chance to prove MatPat's theory about whether Maui is Moana's real father or if Moana is part goddess by other means.
This Surprised Me as Well as all I knew about Moana’s Future was a Series and a Live Action Performance and Honestly I’m hoping those were Cover Ups for a Disney Sequel we’re hoping for Year, if that was the Case then that is Brilliant Set Up, let’s hope it’s better than Ralph Breaks the Internet and Frozen 2, weird enough it drops close to my Birthday.

...I loved Frozen 2 and Wreck It Ralph 2.

It didn't help that it felt like multiple rewrites happening as the movie progressed (same as the frozen world in khiii where all signs point to elsa being the main antagonist in the world until it changes to "this guy you've never met kidnapped elsa and turns into an ice wolf you need to defeat" story)
Ralph2 was more meh in my eyes.

I’m having the same idea too
Honestly, this is how Disney should announce sequels: the year of it's release. I'm just sad it has different songwriters and a different director.
That’s one thing that’s making me worried
Guys, if this was originally going to be a series that they made into a movie, then it's probably not going to be good unless they changed their minds really early into production. Remember the Disney sequels that were originally pilots for animated series? If you don't, I don't blame you. With that history and this being such a sudden announcement, all I'm saying is just don't get your hopes up.
This and Megamind 2 came out of nowhere WTF! Are they really making 2024 year of the animated sequels? It's absurd
The article said that Bob Iger was impressed by the footage for the Moana show so he decided to make it movie.
@@OpticalSorcerer Yet funny enough that flies out the window when it comes to "certain genders and skin color". People have completely forgotten what fiction is these days.
@@Gameboy0001 Yeah, it's not something I agree with, especially since voice acting is supposed to disregard skin color/race (though I can understand why some projects that are culturally linked may want someone of the same background as the character simply out of formality).

Guinevere to take them back to his Kingdom of Far Far Away, and also The Romance of all The Official Disney Princes and all The Official Disney Princesses, especially The Romance of Maui and Queen Moana Waialiki, The Romance of Hiccup Haddock and Princess Merida, The Romance of Jack Frost and Princess Elsa, The Romance of Varian and Cassandra, The Romance of Starboy and Princess Asha, The Romance of Prince Lancelot and Princess Tiffany and The Romance of King Artie and Princess Guinevere, because I think that Maui will be Queen Moana Waialiki's love interest, boyfriend and fiancé, while Hiccup Haddock will be Princess Merida's love interest and boyfriend, Princess Tiffany will be Prince Lancelot's love interest, girlfriend and fiancée and Princess Guinevere will be King Artie's love interest, girlfriend and fiancée, because Queen Moana Waialiki is going to fall in love with Maui, Princess Merida is going to fall in love Hiccup Haddock, Princess Tiffany is going to fall in love with Prince Lancelot and Princess Guinevere is going to fall in love with King Artie, but they don't know how to tell them their feelings towards them and neither how to win their hearts, because every time Queen Moana Waialiki gets too close to Maui when it comes to true love, she gets very nervous with him, while which in the case of Princess Merida is also the same, because whenever Princess Merida gets too close to Hiccup Haddock when it comes to true love, she also gets very nervous with him, in the case of Princess Tiffany it is also the same, because whenever Princess Tiffany gets too close to Prince Lancelot when it comes to true love, she also gets very nervous around him, and in the case of Princess Guinevere too, because every time Princess Guinevere gets too close to King Artie when it comes to true love, she also gets very nervous around him, but luckily for them, Princess Fiona will help Queen Moana Waialiki to win The Heart of Maui, also Princess Merida to win The Heart of Hiccup Haddock, also Princess Tiffany to win The Heart of Prince Lancelot and also Princess Guinevere to win The Heart of King Artie, and I also want that Jack Frost will be Princess Elsa's love interest and boyfriend and Varian will be Cassandra's love interest and boyfriend, because Jack Frost leaves fall in love with Princess Elsa, but he doesn't know how to tell her his feelings and how to win her heart, because every time Jack Frost gets too close to Princess Elsa when it comes to true love, he gets very nervous with her, because Varian leaves fall in love with Cassandra, but he doesn't know how to tell her his feelings and how to win her heart, because every time Varian gets too close to Cassandra when it comes to true love, he gets very nervous with her, but fortunately for they, Shrek will help Jack Frost to win The Heart of Princess Elsa and also Varian to win The Heart of Cassandra, except Goldilocks, Namaari, Princess Raya and Princess Mirabel Madrigal, because now they will be The Only Official Disney Princesses who do not need to have love interests and who can remain single forever, and also the same for Melody, The Daughter of Prince Eric and Princess Ariel, because like her new adoptive aunts Goldilocks, Namaari, Princess Raya and Princess Mirabel Madrigal, she doesn't need a love interest either, but also The Rivalry of King Artie and Queen Anna because they both want to compete in a challenge to see who is The Best Ruler of a Kingdom, because both want to do what is best for Their Own Kingdom, because King Artie wants to do the best for his Kingdom of Far Far Away because now he is The New King of Far Far Away and Queen Anna wants to do the best for her Kingdom of Arendelle because now she is The New Queen of Arendelle, but at the end, King Artie and Queen Anna become best friends in the world, because at the end, they both learned from their mistakes that they have made since their challenge to compete to see who is the best ruler of a Kingdom, and that at the end, King Artie and Princess Guinevere see their first true love kiss and that they become a romantic couple, just like Prince Lancelot and Princess Tiffany, and also that at the end of the movie of Shrek 5, Shrek becomes The New Leader of The Official Disney Princes and Maui, Hiccup Haddock, Kristoff Bjorgman, Jack Frost, Varian, Jin, Connor, The Baker, Starboy, Mateo, Prince Desmond, Prince James, Prince Hugo, Prince Lancelot and King Artie become The New Official Members of The Official Disney Princes, while Princess Fiona becomes The New Leader of The Official Disney Princesses and Queen Anna, Princess Elsa, Cassandra, Yi, Ruby Gillman, Anastasia Tremaine, Princess Asha, Queen Elena, Princess Amber, Princess Isabel, Princess Sofia, Goldilocks, Namaari, The Other Six Princesses of The Kingdom of Atlantica, Princess Raya, Princess Mirabel Madrigal, Princess Tiffany and Princess Guinevere become The New Official Members of The Official Disney Princesses and that one day, Princess Tiffany will be The Wife of Prince Lancelot and that they have a family in the future, and that also Princess Guinevere is The Wife of King Artie, that they also have a family and that she becomes The New Queen of Far Far Away in The Future.
Great, we're gonna have another frozen 2
Woah woah woah, putting Frozen 2 on the same level as Ralph Breaks the Internet is way too far
(I may be biased because I'm a huge fan of the original Frozen, the Broadway musical, and Frozen 2)
Rather take this than the live action film
If it makes you feel any better, they might delay the remake one at a later year and after all we were surprised that they announced the remake too soon.
@@Zion_2_1_4I too was surprised as well by all of this. Just goes to show Disney can’t always know the best thing to do with their characters
I heard Dwayne's daughter didn't believe he was Maui. I could believe that would be a reason why he is doing the live action.
She started to understand that Dwayne is Maui.
honestly i’m just thankful it’s not live action😭 i think the reason im strangely optimistic about this is cuz it’s not going to be ruined by live action.
On the topic of Disney sequels, I think you will feel surprised about the quality of Peter Pan in Return to Neverland.
I didn’t find it too shabby
Desperate move by Disney
It probably is coming because it was the most streamed movie I think it was last year out of all the stuff on Disney+ beating out Encanto. So after how much Wish bombed, they're probably thinking that there's no way this would bomb
I’m so shocked this is happening. I’ve never seen this happen before with any big franchise where an announcement and teaser are released at the same time, and the movie comes out in less than a year. Plus the series wasn’t due for another few years. They pushed it forward so much? What’s going on? Is this an emergency tactic after what happened with Wish?
I believe the series was meant to come out this year
Disney needs money and Moana makes money.
Well, that sure is a big surprise ^^
Really indeed excited myself for this!!
I have mixed feelings about this Movie...
Whatever happened to the princess and the frog series? 😢
Regardless if it's a movie or show, I would appreciate if explores a new setting. My biggest disappointment with the 1st movie is that there wasn't much lore or World building or mythological creatures (other than the Kakamora)
Just like how Frozen 2 had this Iceland-Canada inspired world, Moana 2 should explore a new region inspired by New Zealand or Easter Island
And they're still making that pointless live-action remake?
I imagine so. I guess it's just the show that got cancelled. Seeing as we didn't hear anything about it after it's announcement, I imagine the story was too big to be kept in a show.
LAR Moana would be the closest to the animated original (ie not axing somethings and not adding anything new)
LARs of WDAF #50, #53 and #60 would also be bascically identical
I heard there making Mufasa- Lion King story, coming this holiday season 2024 fr
I’m not holding my breath
Wait what’s gonna happen to the live action Moana?
They might delay it to later year
It's Atlantis Milo's Return all over again...TV series episodes spliced together to become a movie.
I can’t believe that happened
personally i loved frozen 2 i related to elsa alot in that film and my favorite song is im lost in the woods
Frozen 2 was NOT a failure, you not liking the plot doesn’t make it a failure. It made 200 million more than the original. Also, Lin Manuel Miranda is not taking part in Moana 2.
