I love this area because it did such a great job of keeping you freaked the hell out. After going through it, even Headspace’s happiest areas felt fake. Fitting, as the whole world is essentially a bandaid over a gunshot wound of trauma.

I think the dialogue in Deeper Well is the most interesting, so here's a list:
    ✧ creatures:
3:20 "With time, what is important will change. [...]"
3:46 "Humans are bounded creatures. [...]"
4:27 "Your memories are not free. [...]"
4:54 "When trouble shows itself [...]"
5:12 "The sun shined brighter [...]"
    ✧ Branch coral:
    5:52 "A long time has passed [...]"
6:10 questions answered by branch coral (options for the questions: lost friend, big yellow cat and white space)
9:25 the "apple" / power gained
    ✧ more creatures:
11:38 "An unhallowed burden has placed [...]"
12:01 "How far will you go to save a friend?"
    ✧ Humphrey: 12:42

Deeper well is based off of that location in blackspace with the heads in the walls, as that location has extremely red water with distorted corals and waterfalls. Deeper well has regular water for the most part, but as you go deeper the water mixes in with the blackspace water and becomes a pale red color. That's how close those parts are to blackspace. The water from deeper well floods into that area in blackspace, because you can see waterfalls in the background that are falling from above.

This area really filled the LSD Dreams filled hole in my heart.

Why this location is so short?

Probably to emphasize everything said, if it's a much longer scene then it wouldn't have the same effect on the players/viewers
