Nothing brings the pages of the Bible alive more than actually visiting these places. When you return from your journey and you open the Bible it is such a different experience.

Thank you, I need to tattoo this upside-down across my stomach so that I can read it when I hang my head in regret, fear, and the realized shame of who I was and how I lived before the Lord's miraculously gracious rescue of me. Thank you for this series. I enjoy the interesting and informative narration of the host and appreciate how it's punctuated and interspersed with the commentary of those knowledgeable in specific locales and regions along Paul's journeys. The breathtaking cinematography, artful musical scoring, and reflective pacing of the show combine beautifully to elevate it beyond edifying to an experience of the very faith Paul gave his whole life to and for.

It is a good reminding to compare the stoning of Stephen in which Paul was one of the supporters of this cruelty and the later stoning of Paul who became the victim of that cruelty. How great Jesus can change a person!

There is a group going around trying to say Paul was not an APOSTLE. That is so ridiculous! If you take away Paul's writings you wouldn't have much of an New Testament left. Paul was a very intriguing man and I believe A True Man Of God!!!

The group i know of throws out paul because of galatians 3... they cannot justify racism and keep paul
apostle is a transliterated word and not a translation, it comes from te greek apostolos which in turn comes from the hebrew shelajim which means sent or envoy, every main rabbi in the synagogues had envoys or shelajim to spread their teachings as far as they can to make their movement greater, the new people added trough this method are called proselytes which means "added" so Saul was a rabbi and a shelajim of his rabbi Yeshua and he was making proselytes as far a he could

great documentary! however I hear you saying "follower of Christ", but not once it is mentioned that Jesus took our sins upon him - this is the heart of the gospel. Yes, Jesus changes our lifes and gives us purpose. But the main reason Jesus came is to be sacrified as the perfect lamb of God for our sins. This is also exactly what Paul was preaching over and over again. It has to be a part of the documentary...the gospel is the power...

Easternmost island in Greece is so stunning...
This is a great mini series of the apostle Paul. With all the wonderful places you visited and beautiful churches really embraces the foot steps of Paul. Hopefully this will be an eye opener for protestant Christians to dig deeper and search the truth of Christian faith. Having Greek heritage myself I found it in the one holy catholic apostolic church which is the one since Paul's times Eastern Orthodoxy.
