Thank you for the very helpful video, Toni. I noticed that your pumping frequency is significantly faster than mine. I tried it out today and realized that the foil feels much more stable in the water. I was able to keep my arms much calmer and closer to my body because I didn't need to use them as much for balance. I will definitely focus on training this more in the future. The tip about slightly changing foot position and then pumping with a different rhythm is also a great training incentive. Until now, my focus was more on quickly gaining the right speed and pumping high on the mast, which apparently isn't necessarily the right approach. I'm looking forward to the next windless day to work on my technique. Bye the way, In my area, 2-3 minutes of solid pumping would be also enough to get from dock to dock and occasionally catch a small wave. Thanks again.
Yes it does. The board combined with the foil gives the buoyancy of a small surfboard. So it is like paddling a surfboard back. I have the video, just need to post it;)
have you tried Hydrophobic Wax products yet? the " Gyeon Q² " seems more automotive, but is supposed to be very Hydrophobic....but the " Glidecoat Marine Shine & Shield " is obviously intended for marine use. hydrophobicity would Dramatically reduce the drag, I would think quite a bit. the " Glidecoat Marine Shine & Shield " you can pick up at a wal-mart I think. ( just to try a simple hydrophobic wax )

Thanks so much for the detailed comment. It’s fun to hear about your progression. And it think other will befit from hearing it. Keep in touch:)
Watched the whole video. Love it! Very beautiful location too
Thanks for letting me know. I'm very glad you liked it.
A-mazing! RESPECT!!!
Great, whats your foil?
This is the Roam Freefoil Kit
Does that small board have enough buoyancy to swim back on it? I want you to make a video clip about swim back on it.

How tired do you get? Would a decent endurance athlete be able to go for 30+ mins?
Yes they would but their weight would be a big consideration as well.
What do you do if you fall?
You swim:)

Not yet. Seems like an interesting idea. Thanks for the suggestion.
@@RoamFoils the GCS&S only 30 bucks at wal-mart .... probably enough to do a freefoil 20 times over.
@@RulgertGhostalker worth a shot. And looking forward to experimenting with it:)
I want to show this video to a cave man to see if you become a legend for walking on the water
😂
13 minutes while talking is impressive. I think you could easily do 30 minutes without the vlog
Try to catch a fish from it lol
Just need a net;)
