They are like fine wine. I have seen them multiple times and they are the best live band as far as sound. They sound INCREDIBLE and the shows are electric. Kim is a master at working the stage!
Johnny seems to be a pro. I saw this group maybe 6 years ago. Where is the young guitarist with glasses nowadays? He was good too! Do you like Kirk Fletcher? Huge musician
Kim is great but the original line up of Jimmie , Mike Buck ,and the late Keith Ferguson, with Kim , that was a hot band , they backed up everyone when they were the house band at Antones

At one stage he’s actually playing chords and single notes all at the same time, not only that he’s playing a riff with chords while playing another riff in single notes, not easy to do believe me, another harmonica player Huey Lewis also has this same style although not the same as Kim, if you like your music you’ll probably have noticed you won’t hear better certainly not in country or rock, please correct me if you can prove me wrong!..
Jimmy won’t sound the same as he did, that’s why nobody wants to ‘go back’ forget the past you got TH-cam to watch if you want to look back, there’s really no reason to keep harping on about jimmy’s playing in the T-Birds Kim IS the T-Birds!.

Like most people, I'm here to hear the "hits". But their hits sound nothing like straight up blues music. But it's a set of straight blues with 2 sorta "new wave" blues/ rock songs. Why not try to make more hits??!!!

Dynamite group, all fine players. Very consistent and we'll balanced. Kim is one of the great harp players.
