My avatar still looks like poop, not interested in any more new features until they fix what they broke. Also, I play Pokémon Go with a 5 year old and 1 year old in tow, so this is not something I'm going to be stopping to spend any time with.
Like you said the lag in PVP makes it unplayable. I have no one to raid with. On top of that Niantic made raiding harder. Everyone who I know who played Pokémon go quit playing a long time ago. About the only time I play anymore is community day to get the new shiny. I play events to try and get the featured shiny, but I never seem to get it. Recently Pumpkaboo shiny rates were supposed to be boosted. I encountered hundreds and didn't get a single shiny. I am having a hard time seeing the point in continuing to play. In addition to everything else I am still upset about the avatar update. Niantic loves to fix things that are not broke and break them in the process. Theres not a hair styles that even looks close to an older guy like me. A large percentage of the player base is older, and Niantic doesn't take that into consideration.
There's a huge ar photography community and they're working to make those people happy I agree they need to work on the broken aspects of the game before they create new features.
I’m gonna be honest, I work in software dev, and programmers often get bonuses for releasing new features, but they don’t get bonuses for fixing existing features, which is why you don’t see much effort being expended there
I thought I was the only one having issues at certain areas of my local area. I missed the Lugia raid hour this week because for some reason the GPS failed within the game. I hope not a lot of players are going through this as it takes the fun from the game
Before they add this THEY DEFINETLY need to fix the game crashing bug with certain outfits or else using this feature with a bunch of trolls sitting in the gym with a certain outfit ‘iykyk’ will just make the this entire update unplayable for people (esspically for area’s with 1-2 gyms.
It would be awesome if when you place your Pokemon in a gym, a trainer that is there to raid can invite one Pokemon that is at the gym to help raid. The trainer that wants help needs to use a Gym Raid Pass. It shows the Pokemon stats so the trainer can choose wisely. The trainer accepting the invite has to use that Pokemon that was picked, in the rotation.
Honestly, in terms of just making this as real as possible it is a pretty cool feature if you’re into that type of stuff. I remember when they dropped the AR stuff where you could have multiple Pokemon out at the same time, etc. etc. and I got some pretty good pictures from it. Then again I enjoy taking street pictures so I thought it was pretty cool. To each their own though. 🤘🏾
Yeah, it's cool when getting photo hearts, but I don't use AR at all ever. Also that photo heart feature is for buddies I only use when wanting to get to best buddy or at least catch assist perk for a buddy.
I'm still excited for this feature I like playing with the AR. I think Players who have been playing since 2016 forget that these features and party play are really exciting for newer players.
Lmfao I'm commenting as Im listening and bro just said the core gameplay mechanic is raids lmfao 🤣🤣🤣 the core gameplay mechanic is pissing off the community
PVP is personally my favorite part of the game, but is really frustrating, so many bugs and exploits, the limit is a joke, I'd love if niatic once give some love to PVP before and this feature that for most players will be useless
I completely agree with you, I am not interested in AR at all, in fact I don’t know anyone interested in that feature and investing in that rather than events, new Pokémon etc
The problem is that not everybody has AR and its a little bit unfair. For example i dont have AR on my phone and i can't scan pokestops to get items for that
No one got banned that's not what was going on. Someone set a certain costume and mask combo, and it broke their game and crashed people's games who looked at their avatar in gyms.
nintendo has always focused on innovative gameplay but Go has unfortunately shifted to a rudimentary yet, overly complicated, PvP with technical limitations that are likely unfixable. i dont blame them for shifting to PvP because when their initially touted feature- AR, was not particularly good (pics are cool but not amazing and good luck catching on the AR screen), creating a PvP system- something players wanted and something which can be showcased in the gamer world, would keep the game going , ie revenue. i would love an expansion on exploration (geotagging) and pokemon-interaction existing features such as showcases and buddies, which could be done within this playground feature but i doubt it will be anything more than window dressing.
I played PVP and never got one encounter with 5 star raid boss but I got 8 Morpeko!! Then we got the new five star,Lugia and got now 8 more Morpeko so far.I wrote to Niantic and they said sorry but you are not guaranteed a encounter and you can go all season are never get an encounter! That was a BS answer, and for a rural area that's dead, I need to get 5 star raid boss so now pvp is useless.
Its not that it's not cool it's that so much needs fixing they are just throwing something that isn't impactful gameplay wise hoping we will ignore everything else.
I'm not sure if it is the game but fixing the frequent crashes would be nice gets annoying when the game crashes after a raid and I can't go back in and try and catch the pokemon because the timer ended.
I think this could lead to breading. The park instead of daycare are close and I'm guessing could potentially find an egg for you. This is just a theory but I think it could lead to that.
Here my thing with the new stuff they added is it always half baked or needs work. Avatars look awful and need option for you get your old avatar back(really this should not cost that much ). Routes are neat idea and great way get extra stuff. But it took awhile to get them set up and I still sometimes don’t get the zygar cell.(if they made it the longer you walked on route more chances you get more cells would be easy to do) Party play is basically the best thing they introduced. Letting get extra stuff when you with some one and taking down raids faster if you don’t have enough people is great. But the rewards are not that great so other than raids I don’t use it and people forget it is an option. So I am not hyped about this new feature.
I was pretty sure that you got a pull at a legendary Pokémon at rank 20+. That's pretty worth it, in my opinion, especially if you're a rural player and can't do the raids to get those Pokémon.
I tried multiple times to make it to Ace once So I could collect the Libre Pikachu. I rarely if ever play pvp, mostly cause my service is crap and I will get a Weak Connection and be forced to lose.
In my opinion this is another useless feature. The idea sounds cute, but in real life almost noone will use the feature. You have to go to a special Pokestop to interact with someones Pokemon. I find it useless. Would rather like to see breeding, but that will never come into Pokemon Go. If we could breed Pokemon, Naintic would loose many of it's events and sell way less incubators. If players could choose what Pokemon to breed, suddenly Pokemon like Larvesta, Charcadet and Varoom would not be special anymore and it would be easy to hatch enough Salandit to get a female form. For this Niantic will never introduce breeding. So as much as I would love the feature, I also know, this basic pokemon feature will never be part of Pokemon Go.
I'm confused as to what would be considered "necessary" , not trying to be combative, genuinely curious. The comments seem to favor player model, which imo shouldn't be important by any means as it adds little to the game overall. I haven't ran into PvP issue personally, but would be naive to say no one is atm, and if they are then I completely agree it should be fixed. Raiding is tricky, the average player won't be able to do above 3* raids for the first view months due to a lack of strong pokemon, or living somewhere that has minimal (potentially non) gyms in the area. I'm not sure how you could not get the pokemon you want? It tells you exactly what you're getting before you enter, now if you're referring to raid cycle not matching your preference, then thats more of a unfortunate thing then the games issue. If the devs only pushed out meta pokemon daily then there would be no incentive to play after the first view weeks as you'd just have everything you want instantly. Raid passes are also a tricky thing. Again, most normal players wont even be raiding enough to run into the issue of 5 remote raid limit and there's means of obtaining normal raid passes. Granted those who are into pokemon go enough to remote raid are screwed over by the insane pricing, but unfortunately as you said, raids are the core game play mechanic so its their money printing machine
Been checking out of this game for the past 2 months. I was never a hardcore player, but I really enjoyed events and CDs. They've been spotlighting trash pokemon. This Dynamax feature has been broken half the time for me and have no motivation to try to get into that. No time nor local community. Haven't traded with anyone in months. Dead game for me for now. Might be back in a few months but who knows
Dog park? 🤣 Sounds like AI generated idea from a computer algorithm of our clicks, that looked at our searches at poke-gyms. Thinking we wanted to see pokemon and interact with them. When all we are doing is just trying to give our pokemon a berry. 🤣 Great spending off our investments into Niantic. 😮💨🤣
Dope vid Count, I’m not a pet owner in real life so i don’t like dog parks, why would i want to be invested in a Pokémon go dog park?? They have to realize all these “Forced” communal experiences aren’t working 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
What I hear from you Jinsula is you are voicing the opinions of the old guard of video gamers. Remember when games were completed at purchase and to get a player base your games have to be relatively bug free? I’m there with you. Problem is, gamers have accepted garbage, bug-riddled apps as a placeholder for AAA gaming. Everything is infected with micro-transactions and as long as people like you, Jinsula, exist in the gaming space we will never recover from this mind virus As long as Poké tubers are uploading PVP league videos and raid matches, bragging about 100iv Pokémon when in videos we constantly hear that as long as a Pokémon has max attack stat, it’s usefulness is pretty much same as a hundo in raid battles, players will spend and Niantic will continue taking advantage. Niantic wants your money….if raids are ‘buggy’ and you need 8 players instead of five that’s another $3-4 Niantic pockets per legendary….they want your MONEY! Second data mining is the goal. They focus on AR to collected video and audio from your homes and raid groups and storefronts. The data is the goal not our enjoyment…

AR sucks, most times a flat concrete driveway confuses it and not to mention its a huge drain on the battery.
Not interested in ar at all.
Niantic: "One for you, one for Us"
Player's: "Where the one for Us?"
Niantic: "Hats"
You’ve mentioned multiple times you got connections in Niantic, you ever talk to them about these stuff? They ever bother to respond?
Actually party play is useful but only because two people can do harder raids.
ar is just a battery drain and makes gameplay window smaller. cuz run to a charger
My avatar still looks like poop, not interested in any more new features until they fix what they broke.

Spot on....features akin to putting lipstick on a pig. Honestly won't even bother with this unless there's rewards.
I thought I was the only one having issues at certain areas of my local area. I missed the Lugia raid hour this week because for some reason the GPS failed within the game. I hope not a lot of players are going through this as it takes the fun from the game
Niantic needs to just listen to their community
I agree, I think the vast majority of players won’t care about this
We've had 3 months of the 'gyms under construction' bug. Can't they sort the buggy mess out first. None of the AR stuff has been wanted by anyone.
Before they add this THEY DEFINETLY need to fix the game crashing bug with certain outfits
or else using this feature with a bunch of trolls sitting in the gym with a certain outfit ‘iykyk’ will just make the this entire update unplayable for people (esspically for area’s with 1-2 gyms.

I agree useless , they need to fix everything else and sharpen what we already have.
Would only be worth it if breeding is integrated into this feature
fix the game first niantic

Yup, DOG PARK for Rural communities! Where we all stand and look at each other's 5-6 pokemon.
Remember you cant spell Niantic without cringe.
1st ;)
Im so happy so I can do something like this now ...
If you want Niantic GONE
⬇️
Lmfao I'm commenting as Im listening and bro just said the core gameplay mechanic is raids lmfao 🤣🤣🤣 the core gameplay mechanic is pissing off the community
This shows just how clueless Niantic truly is.
The only 2 things I care about
A) FIX the GBL serves
2) STOP recycling the raids/spawns.
never used AR while playing pogo
When the AR game company who has said multiple times they want to focus on AR develops an AR feature 🤯🤯🤯
PVP is personally my favorite part of the game, but is really frustrating, so many bugs and exploits, the limit is a joke, I'd love if niatic once give some love to PVP before and this feature that for most players will be useless

The problem is that not everybody has AR and its a little bit unfair. For example i dont have AR on my phone and i can't scan pokestops to get items for that
I have AR on my phone and did not scan a single Pokestop since the feature is available. Because it has 0 benefit.
@@tf8327 i want to use it for poffins
Wait some phones don't have ar?
@@gobinpun555That's what I was thinking. I was pretty sure every phone with a camera has AR.
Yep mine doesn't have ar or my wife's but 3 of my kids have it on their tech.
they dont take our feedback seriously because we keep playing the game. so in their minds why fix something thats not "broken"
Most people in my community don’t even log in the game anymore unless an event is going on, but that’s about it. The game was on last legs
Has anyone saw the recent the trainer club vdo on someone getting banned due to some particular set of avatars?
Man it's seriously concerning
I haven't heard anything about that. What happened?
No one got banned that's not what was going on. Someone set a certain costume and mask combo, and it broke their game and crashed people's games who looked at their avatar in gyms.
@johnhopkins7845 still not acceptable
I hope we're getting an event with it, featuring kanto Pokemon
I turn AR off every time I log in. Of course, it resets everytime I log out.

Yay something I can't use on my new phone because AR doesn't work on it (it is new bouth it this year)
The TCG game released 3 weeks ago and it already feels more like a game, a polished game, than Go
I played PVP and never got one encounter with 5 star raid boss but I got 8 Morpeko!! What happened at 1:00 in the video
Bro are you kidding? That actually sounds really cool....
Its not that it's not cool it's that so much needs fixing they are just throwing something that isn't impactful gameplay wise hoping we will ignore everything else.
Great they develop a faster way for the app to crash
I'm not sure if it is the game but fixing the frequent crashes would be nice gets annoying when the game crashes after a raid and I can't go back in and try and catch the pokemon because the timer ended.

Oh and don’t get me started on the dynamx battles.
Maybe they should fix the raids or even the go battle league issues
Theres no point going beyond ace rank in pvp unless you like grinding.... just grab the elite tm at 19 and be done really.
I was pretty sure that you got a pull at a legendary Pokémon at rank 20+. That's pretty worth it, in my opinion, especially if you're a rural player and can't do the raids to get those Pokémon.

sounds like a thing that's as hopeless as trying to scan pokestops or gyms. Does anyone actually bother with that?
I totally agree!
7:32 you know what’s NOT a minority Count?? Unlimted Remote Raiding
Fix the avatar fix the lag especially. I’m losing battles because of it.
what a waste. guess there will be some who like it, but I will turn it off.
Be nice if they fixed the bugs first.
Hopefully this leads to the daycare
3:23 #RestoreTheRemoteRaidCommunity
this does nothing for spoofers. they need to make it where i can collect daily raid passes.
I think Niantic is trying to get rid of spoofers, which in my opinion is the right way to go
In my opinion this is another useless feature. The idea sounds cute, but in real life almost noone will use the feature. You have to go to a special Pokestop to interact with someones Pokemon. I find it useless.
