So how was your power improvement over stock ? Im think about doiing this also. I have hot cam 3 plus 3 throttle body. Power commander 5 with dyno tune full exhaust. Intake hope it helps at dunes for hills.
I have that exact big bore kit on my Grizzly 700 but I can’t get the air/fuel ratio right, I have a power commander fuel controller but no good maps to suit the bore kit, I was wondering if you had any maps for it?
It really depends, depending on the plume it could be unburnt fuel which mine does now because the amount of fuel I'm dumping into the motor right at the blip of the throttle. But if you believe it burnt engine oil then it's a possibility that your rings are getting close to needing to be replaced which is causing oil to bypass the piston. To fix this you would need to do a top end rebuild. I would honestly have to see a video of it idling and then revving up to determine if it's burnt engine oil or unburnt fuel.

I know you think that’s a great cylinder but that’s junk brother you pay for what you get…it’s a Chinese copy cylinder they may have resurfaced the jackets and etc but still is cheap Chinese junk bro 💯 that flat area on that front with those numbers just verify that it is a casted cylinder they may have told you it ain’t Chinese but I promise brother it is! You will have gasket issues down the road!
So Athena is a legitimate cylinder. It's the ones that you'll find on Amazon that are like $100. But perhaps I was a victim of fraud. I'll have to look into it.
Athena cylinders are really nice. Maybe he has never seen one before. Athena has been in the big bore game for ages and on countless platforms. Maybe you're thinking of niche

can you still run pump gas on a 12.5:1 piston
I think so bro my yfz has a 12:5 piston not sure if it’s the same thing or there is a difference but I run 91 on it all the time and it runs good

It will be a different kit but they do offer big bore kits for 660 Raptors
