I never comment on youtube, but i feel this may help me just to say here. I am almost 22 years old. Today, I just learned that i happen to be blessed with these very things. The ptsd and the bipolar. It's nice knowing that there are other people. I am also a vet who served in a foreign country's military

Hey I just wanted to say hi. I have lived with Bipolar all of my life. That was the easy part (ha - well at least I had some fun, lots of it sometimes) - then a horrific event happened. That took my daughters life and I thought I would die too, I was then held captive and mentally abused for years. I was diagnosed PTSD severe chronic. Today 6 years later, I still go back to the hell that is PTSD. PTSD is horrific. It is understated - someone ask me which would I prefer? If I had to lose one? I would lose PTSD every single time. It is tough huh? ....

Thanks for sharing brother. It wasn’t until years out that I found out I’m dealing w past demons. I followed the same path youre on: working out, bjj, boxing, running. Those were my medications, until meds were needed. That’s how I handled it. Also, jersey city wasn’t the best place growing up when I did in the 90’s.The world thinks: oh you were in the Marines, that’s the toughest branch.” Yeah well, there’s a payoff to that once you’re no longer needed. Everything you suppressed, comes back biting. It would have been an honor to meet you in person, thank you for shining and being an example of hope. Semper Fi!

About seven months ago I let a former Marine, Who does cover songs on his drum webpage, know that I have a mental illness called ‘ borderline personality disorder‘, I always let people know that this is NOT A confidential thing with me! I let him know how much his drumming and his fantastic sense of humor in his videos helps with my depression! He was kind enough to let me know that he has PTSD anxiety and depression! Since the Internet is not a confidential situation, we do not talk too much about our depression! I did let him know that I have a therapist and we talk on the phone once a week, no office visits due to the pandemic at the moment! He let me know that he has a VA appointed psychologist and goes twice a week! I believe we have helped each other greatly even discussing this in a very tiny way! We both have, I believe, some hope in getting better! Talking with a therapist is one of the most important ways to start getting some hope in our lives! The trick is to take one day at a time, and even if today is one fucked up day it can change in a few hours and you can be on the upswing of getting even a little better! Let’s not give up! 🤞🙏🏼. Sometimes 😦😪🤧 but, somestimes 🙂😉😊!

@@OC87RD boy oh boy what timing with your reply… I was extra sad today… It’s been a 45 maybe 50 year struggle with mental illness… I spoke with my therapist on the phone this past Friday I mentioned to her that September is suicide awareness prevention month… She did not know about this, we both laughed a tiny bit because I know about it yet she didn’t. Suicide crosses my mind throughout the day, I attempted in 1989 with sleeping pills… As you can see I failed at that. The funny thing is I bought a package of sleeping pills drove to McDonald’s got a diet soda parked my vehicle Took some sleeping pills I don’t recall how many (The fact that I got a sugar free soda when you think about it, I should’ve gone out with a large chocolate shake instead of a sugar-free soda LOL) The sleeping pill started working really fast and I panicked and I drove myself to the ER quickly but not fast enough to get a speeding ticket. Now I’m old have all kinds of aches and pains on top of my mental illness I have zero friends and I don’t know what else to say right now well I guess I can say I have the crisis line if I feel really bad I’ll give them a call.I don’t even recall leaving my original message here. Good night my computer is on one percent… I’ll be OK I just wish I had some friends

Hi. I responded to this, twice, the moment after I saw it, and my response looks like it got deleted. I don't get it. Anyway, what I said was that there is no losing in this life; there is only the next day or hour or minute or moment, and we have to fight sometimes to get there. I know, believe me. I run the organization that made this video and I see you, and I hope you keep fighting for your life.

Something needs to be done about the state of war in our current age. In my opinion, Countries that are currently undertaking the war on terrorism need to start forming a more robot-centered type of warfare. No more sending kids out to some country and having them be scarred for life. I'm a mechanical engineering student. I wish one day I could make this happen, develop new and innovative ways of waging wars. I'm going to apply for a job at Lockheed Martin and revolutionize how war is fought.

I'm a #veteran, I am an avid #MentalHealthAwareness advocate and performer, and I love this so much. I travel the country trying to bring that awareness on stages, in classrooms, hospitals, and on my TH-cam channel, so I get excited when I see other advocates. 💙❤

So I had be diagnosed with Bipolar Depression from a retired Psychiatrist because I didn't have the money to get a real one and find this out earlier in life from an working one. I've wanted to go into the USMC as an Combat Engineer at least but I've been given feedback that that's a no go because of the diagnostic. It's times like these that I'd ask was that exactly true or not since this guy here has PTSD and is Bipolar and he served. So which the fuck is it?! I don't see myself joining now since I'm 28, I don't know if they'll accept me under these conditions...
