My dad passed when I was 9, my good friend was told as a child his dad was garbage his whole life by his awful hate filled mom, he 43 now and just met his dad for the first time 6 months ago, plus all of his step bros and sisters, they were all so excited to meet him, he found out his dad was a great guy, fun part they look just like each other father and son.
He still is working out in his mind that his dad was not a jerk, his dad was overwhelmed with happiness to meet his son for the first time.
They talk about once a week by ph. 900 miles apart.
@@descendantofphineas7785 My biological father was an abusive alcoholic. My mother and I spared the two young siblings from too much info and my mother never spoke badly about him. Some years after the divorce my sister decided to go stay with him and came back a short time after asking mum how on earth she could have lived any time with such a man. Mum said that she had to make up her own mind. My brother went to live with him after the divorce and he almost died from neglect until I told mum to take him back despite him having broken her heart as he was the favorite. He nevr forgave himself for that and died 5 years ago.

onetime I had a cake delivered to my house. My Person opened the door and received the cake, I didn't order on and neither did he. Then I read the cake. it said, "YOUR SISTER IS OUTSIDE". I hadn't seen my sister in almost 7 years at that point. I don't think I moved so fast in my life. That day will always be a top 5 for me. Sometimes you just need to hug the ones you love.

My son is incarcerated and I’m LIVING for the day his debt to society is paid and he is freed. What a glorious day that will be when I can hold my baby boy in my arms again! This is my prayer EVERYDAY.🙏🏾

Hope he's okay when he's out, I'd understand if they kept him in for murder or rape, but if he's just someone who stolen things and didn't kill anyone, then why do some sentences be so harsh on people, I have prejudice against those that cause actual harm to eachother, but probably some are capable of change, but then again they need to be helped to change and want to change. hope all are okay 👍

You will one day. I had heart failure after my husband passed away and I walk up the stairs to this beautiful light and my husband was waiting for me he was so happy to see me not so the doctor whom said it’s not your time yet and that was this year 12 years ago.
I hope I get to see my only son whom died in an auto accident 6.5 years ago. He was 31. I cant wait to see him again!

My dad back in the early seventies used to shake hands when he saw his sons. My brother went to Italy for a year and when he returned, he gave a long deep hug front to front arms surrounding each other. That was momentous. Dad learned to relax and give real hugs.

My Mom was released for one day on Christmas ... knowing she was dying made it special but hard.
She passed Feb 1, 1988 and I'll always cherish that Christmas especially.

I arrived late on at a family gathering unannounced, and all eyes were on me in shock and surprise. You see, I had been out all day on the piss and forgot my Grannie's wake. My Mum approached me, tears streaming down her face, and slapped me so hard my back teeth rattled. Of course, then I started sobbing, it was fucking sore, and the full family started chanting repeatedly " GET TAE FUCK, GET TAE FUCK, GET TAE FUCK ". So I ran back to the pub. The whole experience was so emotional and traumatic for the whole family. I wish somebody had filmed the whole episode so that it could have been part of this heart warming video.
