I did this in front of my grandparents (the people who raised to always do what’s right) and my mother. My father was right by my side supporting my decision. This was two months ago, I have yet to hear from anybody else except my father. I pray everyday that they will see and understand and accept my reasons and see that I did what I knew was right.
If what you have said is true and you truly believe that your actions were justified then nobody can tell you that you made the wrong choice. You are a courageous person who stands by integrity. I respect that decision.

The elderly couples are so special. It reminds me of my grandparents. My grandma had alzheimer's and was in a home. My grandfather went to visit her everyday and just stood outside her window because he wasn’t allowed in.
My favorite one was at 5:35 the mom screaming in excitement flinging her arms and jumping around when seeing her military daughter was wholesome and I loved it❤❤❤

Seeing the elderly couples meeting again after being apart during Covid gets me every time. The same happened with my Papaw and Mamaw. My Mamaw was at home & we had moved my Papaw into a nursing home in 2019. They didn't get the chance to have their reunion, in July 2020 Papaw died of Covid before they got the chance. My Mamaw passed away 4 months ago from Cancer. They are having their reunion now up above.
These military ones are killing me. My first husband and first true love was in the army. We were friends since high school. I even begged him not to join the army. I just keep remembering the first time I saw him after his first combat mission i tried so hard to wait for him to hug his family first. They were all waiting. Both sets of grandparents, parents cousins aunts uncles. But I could see him before he was clear. It's a small airport. He kept looking at me and by the time he was through it was like a damn movie moment. He threw down his bag to catch me. I hate myself for giving up on him. We spent over a decade avoiding each other bc we thought that's what the other wanted. He told me a few years before he died, he drove by my house at least once a week whenever he was in town and after he retired. I never even considered taking vows again until he passed. I spoke of it but in my heart knew i couldn't. I never took anyone seriously until he passed. It was like waving a white flag. And i hate myself for putting more effort into my second marriage when he deserved it. I held a younger man to a higher standard. He may be the single biggest regret of my entire life..Not that we were together, but that i didn't do more to save us, and him. I save his life once before the army. He quit breathing and I was a lifeguard. The paramedics told him i saved his life. I just wasn't there the second time he stopped breathing.
They are all so incredible the love between them all is so powerful. The one's that touched me the most were the one's of elderly couples see each other after months apart. Time is so fleeting at that age and to lose so much of that time with your life partner is heartbreaking. I see the couples unite and almost see an overlay of them as youngsters when the world didnt exist except in the person in front of you...extraordinarily powerful. Also the ailing gentleman who had surgery and saw his wife and child....I wish him the very best in his battle and hope they are all reunited in good health in as short a time as possible

She absolutely hates my guts even though she is wicked and evil and a horrible person, I still love her and pray that one day, she will actually say she loves me. 😢 She has hated me ever since I was born and told our family she hated me because I was born and she stopped being the baby of the family and took all the attention away from her. We are both 55 and 56 years old.
It is possible that one day you could get your wish. I said disgusting monstrous things to my sister and she ended communication. I went from knowing my niece at the age of three to meeting her at the age of 13. I missed 10 years with my beautiful niece. I got my sister back and I got enough of her trust that I got to spend time with my niece. My niece has had struggles that are very close to mine but if I hadn't lost 10 years with my sister I wouldn't have been relatable to my niece. My sister and I are in cahoots to surprise my mom for Mother's Day and both of us showing up. I hope and pray that you get that I love you from your sister. Regardless, there are a lot of people that do love you. And you matter to me because you help me tell my story today. God bless.
