I bought a 1985 Gyro S for $120 today. It's all original including the tires. It sat outside under trees out in the country. The guy bought the land that had a house on it in the past and found it when clearing it to prepare it for another house. It has a good key and looks to only be missing 2 pieces of plastic covering (top engine cover and battery/oil tank cover). The seat is what suffered the most. Not a bad price for a project bike, IMO. The tank is rusty and crusty inside but it doesn't have holes yet, since there is liquid still inside.
Keep all the parts you can, almost nothing is made anymore for sale from Honda. It is a great little bike and Old People love My BIke for some reason!!!
@@DIOSpeedDemon The original engine/trans was completely ruined from mud/water. I bought a used motor on ebay and it's ridable again now. The turn signals aren't blinking properly and I had to replace the RH handlebar controls, as well as the carb and starter motor, and a few other things (tires, tubes, brake shoes, throttle cable). Oil pump cable is also broken, so I disabled the pump and I feed it premixed fuel.
@@DIOSpeedDemon I have an old one from a Honda Helix I parted out years ago that looks to be indentical. It's a common/universal blinker module, by the looks of it. I just haven't gotten around to messing with it since I put the body panel back on.
