What a lovely video, they always make me smile, especially when you roll cacti and pull out succulents, makes me feel braver when handling mine.

My gosh, you nearly gave me a heart attack when you threw that round cactus! I didn't know you could do that without hurting it. I thought not to change anything, but what you did clearly improved it. Thank you.

💜💜👍🏻💜💜 morning from Central Valley California. Thank you for all of your inspiration over the past couple of weeks, I’m pretty sure I’ve watched 90% of your videos now. And also Chuck’s videos. You both are so helpful

You know what it is Laura, you are a truly skilled gardener but it is your ease with Hannah and the camera that make it a pleasure to watch. Your ode to Mel Brooks” I got it, I got it” was hilarious. “I don’t got it.” Lol 😂
    Thanks for sharing.

You created a beautiful view to the newly positioned barrel cactus and that one branch you pruned off of the Euphorbia was perfect!! Love the color of the Aeonium ‘Silk’. Would like to try one that isn’t such a bugger about full dormancy. Please be careful of your back!!

You know, I love watching you every day. Im gradually building my garden piece by piece, and my husband’s words to me after I come back home with yet another cactus or succulent are.........‘That’s your new plant........what are you DOING cutting back those roots! You’re killing it!’ Or ‘You’re not digging a hole? The mountain winds will toss it around and you’ll lose it!’ My answer is your own explanation plus I add Donald Sutherland’s line ‘Have a little faith, baby!’ He believes I’m crazy, I think, and refused to help me plant a few succulents a while ago as he didn’t want to be blamed for all my plants dying......but I caught him sneaking a check on the roots of a barrel cactus the other day and he’s now quietly amazed that you’re right, Laura. Result! xx

Happy to see you take the minimalistic approach to the Orange Puff. Its a really beautiful specimen and I wouldn't have touched it. On another note, I am obsessed with barrel cacti and I cannot find them anywhere. I guess I will have to wait a little while longer.

Hemorrhoids and hot mess all in one video - Love your work, Laura. So nice to watch your videos after a long day of work. We have a huge green (not yellow or orange) fire stick plant in between our yard and our neighbors'. Thinking of asking them if we can take a hack at it and add to our front yard.

Hi Laura I watch all of your videos and love them. 7 mths ago I planted a large succulent cactus Jade aloe Rock garden with lava rock bedding, about 15 ' sq. every is growing beautifully.
but the problem is There is a large pine tree very close and the garden is always covered with needles . I bought a leaf blower and it didn't work good because they are sticky. when I blow them at high speed It blows the Lava away because i'ts light. What do you think I should Do? James

Amazing watching you prune and handle that euphorbia with gloves, but bare arms. It's not as poisonous as some sources say it is right? The milky sap is sticky and annoying though.
