A few years back I watched some of your videos and felt very nostalgic, I was having a depression. I'm here just to share with you I still feel nostalgic watching such games from my adolescence, but I am seeing an psychoanalyst weekly and my mental health has improved thousandfold.
Goddamn, dude! I feel like crying! I loved this game so much! I still love it! Wonderful game! Though I remember the GPS system in PS1 being different? Maybe it's my aging memory, whatever... Thanks for bringing this precious gem to my eyes once again! Such an easily forgotten game by majorities, yet such a precious masterpiece!
It's saddens me to think that if the Dreamcast had held out another year, We could've had Capcom vs SNK Pro, Capcom Vs SNK 2, and KoF 2000 in glorious near arcade perfect status on the Dreamcast. (In the US or EU) Still, it's better to not be sad about visions of what could have been and instead look back at the Dreamcast with fond memories. (debatable on KoF '00 though, SNK was in their death lashes when 2001 came. Not the game, the year.)
I was very angry when I found out the US would not be getting Shenmue 2, then sometime later heard the DC was obsolete, this had to have been in '01. I still Play DC to this day. Actually just fixed it, it wouldn't read discs and had to adjust the lens screw. I was happy to have saved it, many great Dreamcast games.
Hello you can buy them as imports for Dreamcast but you would need something called DC_X which allows you to play all foreign games that belong to Dreamcast on the U.S. systems or you can get Game Shark, I have these games and work nicely
RRaccoon99 To be honest though, SNK Vs Capcom 2 probably would've sucked on the Dreamcast, you'd definitely need a Fightpad because of the because of the controller on the Dreamcast. But Capcom Vs SNK Pro could've worked perfectly. However, I just think that Sega was on IT'S last death lashes just like SNK was. I still would've played the Xbox or PS2 versions of SNK Vs Capcom 2. They just need to add online back for the Xbox version on the Xbox One X's backwards compatibility. PS4 needs to do the same with backwards compatibility. I grew up with Nintendo, and I got skipped over GameCube and never got to play SNK Vs Capcom 2 on GameCube. Bottom line is: I somewhat agree with you on this.
I'm currently playing the original on my Dreamcast and can't get to 100 GPS, I think. Although I had the Akuma stage open for buying, I don't know if the stage is available after I fight him or what conditions I need to meet in order to fight him. (I assume I need certain quantity of GPS, maybe over 60?
i have the VGA box, it looks better and has Progresive scan compared than composite & s-video, s-video looks better though but only displays in old CRT TV's
Balance changes, Dan and joe from the standard endings being playable, every secret being readily available with the secret shop getting axed, speaking of endings; they’re not as grim this time with your team instead taking the place of joe and Dan (since they’re playable in this version)
+Rage Quitter 87 No, it can happen, it just requires specific qualifications. For instance, to fight Nakoruru, or Morrigan, it's required 60 or Grove points, but it also requires a level 3 super KO to work, otherwise 60 or more Grove points doesn't get you the fight. I don't know what the qualifications are for Orochi Iori or Evil Ryu, bit it is possible on Dreamcast, as I've done it before.
@@TheSonic497 broski thank you for being USEFUL lmao I was struggling to get Morrigan to fight me even with the 60 groove points she wouldn't show up, but Nakoruru did, and perhaps with Nakoruru I did a raging demon with evil ryu and that's how I got the fight.

This Jazzy/Electronic ost, futuristic backgrounds, stage presentation in the beginning of the fight bringing a imersion. All nice.

The GP system was exactly the same on PS1, it was broken as hell, and very unfair.
EmptyKingdoms me too so nostalgic 😭 I’m crying
Capcom needs to make a Capcom vs SNK 3.
All this talk about knowing that you're gonna play this on Capcom Fighting Collection 2 next year is just mind-blowing! Good luck!
10:20 I love that intro
I love that screen effect from the super combo finish 3:59
Uhhh, Thats a Finest/Dramatic KO
This is so early 2000s future-Japan aesthetic

is there any option to make the game in english?
I blame that generation for not being open minded back then.

13:48 - I'd forgotten about that particular animation. Damn. o_o
The way Akuma came out of nowhere and sliced Bison!
3:59 - Funfact:
Finest KOs existed in CVS1
This game is simply ahead of his time.
Capcom vs. SNK. Classic fighting game.😃
Despite the ridiculous nerfs, this game is nice.😃
Good playthrough.👍
❤️ The Music In The Background
09:13 Ken has the perfect strength moves against Morrigan, fastest time without a hit.
From 2:32 to 2:36 :
Kaiser e uma grande cerveja , a cerveja dos momentos felizes (if only who ear can hear carefully)
Cerveja do Brasil...
Nem lembrava dessa kkkkkk
I noticed that Morrigan's stage in this version is slightly different. The background behind the arches actually scrolls here.
The original version is way better than the normal version for the OST music.
Alan Gamino not sure what that has to do with my comment but ok.
Capcom Fighting Collection 2 brings me here.
11:45 was pure hype

One of the thing i hate is the groove point system and the final match music. It make less fun when fight the final match in 2v2
i need the song of first arena . with purple sky . can you help me please???

Did you change the music or is that how it is on the Pro version? I noticed the music is different like Ryu's stage and Final Fight music.
There's an option to use classic music, on the original version this option has to be unlocked, but on Pro it's available from the start
18:37 Final battle, brace yoself M. Bison!
18:49 SHIT MAYBE NOT!
i cannot for the life of me beat geese two rounds in a row...
what's the difference between the pro edition and the non pro edition?
erick monroy the pro edition includes joe higashi and dan hibiki
Daniel Fajardo I guess you learn something every day!! Thanks buddy for the info👌👍
I just bought the one for the dreamcast
The pro version has much balancing tweaks added.
9:20 think you should've fought Evil Ryu?
I'm not sure if Evil Ryu or Orochi Iori can challenge you in this version, that might have been exclusive to the PS1 version?

As bad as this game was, I'm surprised-and grateful-it got a sequel. Capcom SNK 2 was loads better
That’s crazy because there was many aspects of this one that was better lol
