They did sparring twice, when Haney was 14 and when he was 17. When Haney was 14 he got beat but when he was 17 he got the best of Tank. So it’s sparring stories iron sharpens iron.

@DarkWorld_Vault Not true at all. Coach Nate Jones won money and said Devin won whole interview on him talking about dog house. Floyd Senior said he won. 2 others that I can't remember right now said they walked away with cash betting on Haney.
From the interviews I've seen it seemed like it was back and forth but then Tank caught Haney with a good shot that wobbled him bad and AB and everyone jumped in the ring. But after that they continued sparring and Haney started getting the best of Tank because Tank was out of shape. Tbh, this is similar to Tank fights. Tank loses some of the early rounds but then ends up stopping his opponents and that's how I see the fight playing out if Tank and Haney were to get in the ring again.

I heard the story from Floyd this story makes the most sense
Tank wasn’t in shape and Haney was younger they fought and Haney got clipped but that doesn’t end it because it’s dog house the first to stops loses and the other wins they had a competitive spar then tank was tired so Haney won
At the end Haney technically got the money but obviously in a real boxing match if Haney get clipped there’s no assistance I heard something about people jumping in the ring but I’m not sure if that was an old sparring or this one

I use to fight in the amateur's, just to let you know i got at least some experience, let me tell you if tank was out of shape.......it WOULD NOT Be good work between the two like Mayweather keeps saying, he's trying to cover for tank point blank period,its impossible to get good work if tank was out of shape.
