My favorite song by Jinjer. Tatiana Shmayluk showcases more of her beautiful clean vocals in this song. They just were at Wacken, Schleswig-Holstein Germany a few days ago with a huge lineup of artist. And yep, I missed out. Always a great reaction from you guys. Have fun.
This is in 2016 before Vlad joined on drums. This drummer is Dmitri Kim. He bowed out as he didn't like being on the road for extended shows. He still plays drums and has a channel here. He also helped mix wallflowers when they laid it down. You can see behind the scenes for a lot of their in studio production process here on the yt. There's a behind the scenes making of this on you tube.
There's a bts video and the choreography seemingly gave Tati fits. There's a line they translate "I have a boyish fist! I can't do it girly!" which I dunno it's just super cute to me.
It takes quite a bit to get me laughing, but watching this I just couldn‘t stop. Your humor is right up my alley! Great reaction, instant sub! Greetings from Eisenach, Thuringia, Germany
The way that Jinjer mix dynamics in their songs is absolutely amazing, combining quiet and loud, subdued and screaming, common and compound time signatures (if you’re using this song on your bedroom playlist, you’re gonna have a hard time keeping the rhythm 😂)… I’ve seen people fall off of the Jinjer reaction trail after the Pisces/Teacher Teacher/Who Is Going To Be The One/Perennial playlist, so kudos for heading into the rarefied air of the back catalog. Judgement and Punishment is a fun one - and there’s a live one-take they recorded during the pandemic with just Tatiana and her cat, not sure if you’ve come across that one yet. Or if you want a spicy one, try “Sit Stay Roll Over”.
Metal bass player with several years of both recording and live experience here to save Ash a bit 😅 1. Yeah, coated strings definitely last longer. However, with the frequency you change string during touring and recording, they never really reach an age where that matters. I would only use coated strings on the bass I practice on at home 😊 2. What Ash noticed as "space noises" from the bass is actually a good observation. What you heard was the bass and drums doing "accents" to emphasize specific parts in the guitar riff. If you listen to the guitar, and Dave may know this too, it was doing two notes with a "closed" sound followed by one with an "open" sound (c-c-o-c-c-o) - the bass and drums were doing accents on the open notes. It's really fun to see and hear someone who's not musically trained listen to music and often have a totally different experience! Keep it up, you two 😊
-This was among the songs I listened to after “Pisces” along with “Judgment and Punishment”, “Retrospection”, and “Wallflower.” At first, I didn’t know how to take this song. After hearing it and seeing it live, i really enjoy it especially the ending. Her voice is just so amazing. -After the talk about something different, I have to recommend “Bad Water” especially the official live version from the label. As I said, I tried to check out some of their other songs after “Pisces” but nothing was clicking. After hearing “Bad Water”, I became a fan of the band. What didn’t click for me before about the previous songs I checked out just clicked automatically.
Great Reaction! Dave, be nice to Ash, she's great at setting up your "straight guy" routine! Ash, I can't help but smile and even laugh as you fixate on Tati! I especially enjoyed the first "false ending" as Ash is grinning and looking at the screen just waiting and hoping Tati will re-appear! I really think yall should do some "Double-Feature" Reactions where you watch the "Official Video" followed by the "Live Version" of several of Jinjer's songs. All of the Official Videos are great, but I really love the sound of the live versions and yall can also see and react to the differences...PLUS, Ash will get a DOUBLE-DOSE OF TATI!!! Some Double-Features I think yall should do are: Vortex & Vortex Live Hellfest 2021; Pit of Consciousness & Pit of Consciousness Live in Kiev; On the Top & On the Top Live in Kiev. Looking forward to your next Jinjer reactions!
Sit Stay Roll Over is even older. It was when Tati had dreads and it was the video/song that got them signed to Napalm records. Great review! Love watching you guys. Outlander is older, too, and my favorite song by them.
What you were saying about the bass players strings - I've been playing guitar and bass for 20 years and I've lost count of the number of guitar strings I've snapped but I've never broken a bass string. They are nearly indestructible, his strings are fine.
Just saw them with Breaking Benjamin and Disturbed. A decent amount of people left right after Jinjer’s short 30 minute set, blew my mind that they wouldn’t stay for the rest of the show. BB played for an hour and Disturbed went 2.
Disrespectful to a highly talented band like Jinjer to be an opening act (way better than Breaking Benjamin) and only had 6 songs and half the crowd wasn't watching them play. The people in the pit were pathetic and were sleepwalking. I've been to Jinjer shows where Tatiana is Headlining and out performs the other two bands. Disturbed did put on a good show, but Jinjer should of been the 2nd act for at least over an hour.
Jinjer is concurrently on their own tour, making stops in between the Disturbed dates. They’re getting exposure and making the money by doubling down on the number of shows.
Lol the disturbed tour has been an absolute shitshow for jinjer, hopefully the payday is good......the most technically proficient band and the best frontperson performer on the card is playing a tiny 25 min set with 70 pct of seats empty and half of the crowd present not even looking at the stage 😂😂......they need to be a headline only act......disturbed is grampa rock, majority of those fans ain't looking for no jinjer as can be seen in many clips of these shows 😂😂
Thanks guys. Love this track. Dave, you may like Sound Struggle. They combine metal, jazz-funk and prog with a mix of clean and guttural vocals. They've got a couple of live studio tracks on TH-cam called The Disease and Rise.
This is why you don't take your (non metal) gf or wife to gigs. They get confused and start talking utter bollux. In this case she obviously has the hots for the bass player.
I don't see this song as any different from the rest of Jinjer. A little more melodic at points, but it's still their brand of metal and if you like Jinjer, this song should be "your type of music", at least in my opinion.
Splendid. And Ash would like Who's gonna be the One. 🤗
The look of pure joy on Ash's face when you do Jinjer is absolutely priceless 🤘💙🇺🇦💛🤘
One of Jinjers greatest songs! Love your reactions!
2 must listens for Jinjer…”Who is Gonna Be The One(live)” and “outlander(live)”.
Have fun.
Suggestion, On The Top live at Kiev. Powerful song.

One of my favorite Jinjer songs! Thanks for reviewing. Awesome job as always you two!
Eat your fries

This was the first song of theirs I ever heard! Hooked immediately.
This is the most beautiful song i have ever listened. Love it

Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev is a must see performance. It's one of their heavier songs and Tatiana's power level soars why over 9000
I think Dave has ulterior motives for including Ash in the JinJer reactions
For me is this one of the best Song
This is a very old Jinjer classic! The early years!
Still a shit ton of Jinjer you haven't seen on Office Blokes React too Dave.

I subscribed to you, I've been watching your Jinjer reactions. I suggest another older one next , 'Sit, Stay, Roll Over'.
Will forever be my favorite Jinjer song!
Sit Stay Roll Over is even older. It was when Tati had dreads and it was the video/song that got them signed to Napalm records. Great review! Love watching you guys. Outlander is older, too, and my favorite song by them.
My favorite Jinger song! Great review guys ❤

Thank you for doing this. I love this song and not nearly enough people react to it.
2:25 So what you're actually trying to say, in a round-a-bout way, is: Astronomy is Science, Astrology is bullshit. 😄
моя любимая група песня класная спасибо вам 🤘💓
Proper twangin’ just infiltrated my vocabulary. Look out world!
you gotta just love this band.
Ash needs to hear Les Claypool or Buckethead on bass guitar for some spacey sounds 🤘🤪🤘
Wynona’s Big Brown Beaver. Primus sucks!
Watched a lot of the office blokes reacts mostly to sports but now you throw in my favorite band and it just hits! Yall got great taste!
👍 I will be seeing them in September. 🖖❤
Same
Gotta show her the Official Live version of Cloud Factory 🤘
Also, just let Eugene thump that bass. He's doing nothing wrong, lol
I've read that they performed in front of a green screen and that the universe was added later.
Check out the song Tatiana did with lions at the gate called find my way or the one she did with 12foot ninja called over and out
Always love Ash's reaction to Tatiana! Her green eyes always light up! She's got a little ginger in her, indeed!😂😈
The first bit was brilliant. 😂
Next you guys need to react to "Home Back". One of their best songs imo.
Ooh. Loved your Dooo stuff and now you're doing Jinjer?! Got to be worth a sub. 'Ave it!
4:19 rofl. You both are a lovely couple.
Just saw them with Breaking Benjamin and Disturbed. A decent amount of people left right after Jinjer’s short 30 minute set, blew my mind that they wouldn’t stay for the rest of the show. BB played for an hour and Disturbed went 2.
To be fair, I'd pay NOT to watch the other 2 bands. So I don't blame them.
I like all 3 but Jinjer should not be at the same show as the other two.

You shouldve done a live version for this reaction.
Thanks guys. Love this track. Dave, you may like Sound Struggle. They combine metal, jazz-funk and prog with a mix of clean and guttural vocals. They've got a couple of live studio tracks on TH-cam called The Disease and Rise.
Here we go 🤘🏽🤘🏽🔥🔥🔥
This album they really defined they're new sound, has the ONLY song I've ever heard from them Not to have any growling. BLACKWATER 😈🤘
Great reaction. I'm a new sub. Dave I know you like Lovebites. You should introduce Ash to Lovebites. Keep this going.
what about sit, stay, rollover from jinjer ??
You need to show her Outlander by Jinjer
Tatiana is the Queen. She is BRUTAL, but she is fair.
Space Shipey is that a noun or a verb?
Ty for the tear laugh you damn Gingers.....
If you want to hesr some young, seriously angry Jinjer, try Sit, Stay, Roll Over.
You should check out their song vortex
You’ve got to do Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev next
👽👽wa 👽👽waaa 👽👽
this song makes me want to get back into zombies
This is why you don't take your (non metal) gf or wife to gigs. They get confused and start talking utter bollux. In this case she obviously has the hots for the bass player.
🤘🇺🇦🤘
Live in kiev please or resurrection fest
You got to do some arch enemy, another growly hot lady.
I don't see this song as any different from the rest of Jinjer. A little more melodic at points, but it's still their brand of metal and if you like Jinjer, this song should be "your type of music", at least in my opinion.
Shouldve listened to live at Hellfest
how dare you cut off HER! WTF guys?
I wonder what the over/under is on how much longer Ash will stay with this hideous troll. My money is on 1 month max.
