I just started watching your videos and I love them! When I study I constantly rewrite my notes. I find that when I hand write my notes I remember them better.
I am a Political Science: International Relations major with French and Arabic minors. Because languages require lots of memorization, especially Arabic, I create study sets on Quizlet and run through the list over and over until I get the whole study set correct three times in a row. If I mess up and I was on my third time, I have to start back at one and work my way up again. It's all continuous repetition and it is super helpful.

This may sound silly, just a little warning. But, I'm going through a very stressful period in my life (I just started a new job, which is very demanding, and I'm currently on the brink of graduating from my masters degree), and whenever a get a panicky feeling in my stomach - and I know you know that feeling! :) - I just watch a video of yours. Somehow, it reminds me that all is well, and I'll make it through, I just have to put the hours in. So, thank you!
I study chinese mandarin so I do it really often also, almost everyday but my study style is really messy, not coloring pencils no nothing basiclly lol just a textbook and pile of paper to write marks over and over. I really admire people who are able to memorise so much of actual information, I can learn languager, ever very hard ones, but as long a I don't use some informations regulary, I forget all of them.
