Pure Gold Joey!! What a champion Kevin is. Great to hear how positive he is about the whole industry and his take on every lure having a place. Loved this vid ;) greatest quote from the vid ‘I’m gonna keep making em until I fall off the chair!’ GOLD!
Awesome interview Joey. Great history on a legend lure maker. I always thought he was a Kyogle born & bred. It’s good to hear the knowledge of blokes like him. Mentioning the likes of Peter Nesbit who was a metal work teacher at Casino High school, Peter was also known for he’s excellence in being a gun smith as well. I have an old lure that I believe is one of Kev’s & Peters. Also have an old shirt some where that was from the late 80’s -90’s when they where raising funds for what was called the Green fish, protecting the Australian Eastern Cod. Look forward to the next interview & fishing trip you have with him.👌
Absolute gold Joey! Kevin is an absolute legend in northern NSW bass circles. I grew up on a small farm just downstream from Kempsey that backed onto the Macleay river, brackish water that always had a heap of healthy big fat bass. I couldn’t get home from school quick enough to get the canoe on the river & go chasing bass on lures! I read every article I could get my hands on & read some brilliant stories by Kev & Rob smith that really got you fired up to get out there & get into it. Just loved every minute of this! Cheers!
Outstanding interview, what a legend Kevin is thanks for this Joey !!!!!
