This is AMAZING, I played MAW:AS2 a lot and I've been wanting to play this so bad. You both did amazing with commentary and gameplay, I can't wait to see more!!!
The Stug 3 G wasn’t the last version I think it was the Stug 4 since the place were they were making the panzer 3 hulls for the Stug was bombed so they used a Panzer 4 hull as a substitute
Ouh... Mission 2 is actually the wrong name, I think Bernhard pointed it out but it didn't come across properly. It's the Rur (Roer in Dutch) Bastion, not the Ruhr (different river further east) Bastion. I actually live very close to Jülich.
All his videos are like that man, check out his channel. If you're a military history nerd (which you probably are if you're watching Vulcan) his channel is perfect for WW2. Does an excellent job citing primary sources or sources that use primary sources. Like it's legit professional history commentary.
Late as heck on this so I hope you've found the answer by now, but on the main screen on the top right you can invite friends and then just launch per usual.
The German voices sound so legit. Then you have this clearly European dude doing this weird American accent go “FOR FREEEEDOM!” How am I supposed to play the Americans if they talk like that?
The american campaign was extremely difficult to sit through with all the "MY BUTT IS GREEN FROM ALL THE SITTING AROUND DOING NOTHING...", "FOR FREEDOM!" and ofcourse "WE ARE GETTING OUR TAILS OUT OF HERE!" They really should've stuck with the old voice lines.
@@schnitzelfritzel6287 dude I can gurantee that not a single American soldier said “For Freedom” throughout the entirety of WW2 unless they were doing it ironically after banging a French chick. Coming from a series like Company of Heroes, this voice acting is below F tier. Have they ever met an American in their lives? And you can tell the German sounds so professional and authentic. The American personalities of GIs in ww2 was unique and iconic. Band of Brothers is a stellar reference for insight into the ways that my grandpa and so many other grandpas talked back then. They cursed more than any other nation. There were Italian, Irish, mid Atlantic accents. There were red necks, gangsters, cowboys, all sorts of truly dynamic and compelling characters that colored the ranks of the US expeditionary force. This level of laziness, stereotyping, and stupidity indicates something quite contemptible about this game. I’m gonna stick with Gates of Hell.
@@FrostRare I mean to be completely fair if you think any title in the franchise has better voice acting then you must be pretty new. Every single game in this franchise has extremely bad and lazy voice acting, including goh. Still decent games though… well some of them
Would love to see you try Gates of Hell someday. Especially with the West front liberation DLC. I think that will be more your style and if you like this, you will without a doubt like that.
Very-very bad graphics in 2024... in my opinion. Like in the first MoW. Unrealistic units, unrealistic damages ectect.... I dont like it. Bad game for childs.
@niconilo97 he means to say the graphics look like 2015 game graphics, and in all honesty and not being biased, it is comparing it to other games using the same engine it looks outdated
Full coop campaign is such a wonderful addition. Ive wanted to get into the franchise for years but had a horrible time getting them running stable.

It was called Men of Wait: Lobby Squad!
@@Suseko44 I liked to play against hard AI so it wasn't too much waiting

Yo it's Bismarck, that dude is awesome.
Would love to see the linked content he spoke about when it came to the Ruhr crossing @ 41:25

I’d be interested in a multiplayer comparison between this and sd2 and coh3, maybe even gates of hell.
THIS GERMAN IN THIS VIDEO IS AWSOME HE HAS A BOOK WITH ALL THE DEFRENT THINGS USED IN BATTLES ECT omg

Been trying to figure it out, but how do you start up a coop campaign lobby?

It *is* odd how little RTS and strategy games in general have advanced over the past 15 years.
