    Best or not, Belal deserves a title shot. There must be a reason Leon is running from Belal. If it was an easy fight, take it, make your money and move on

      Ain't no one running. Fighters ain't usually afraid, but may have reasons for preferring other opponents. Leon has several, I.e., he was beating him last time, he may prefer a bigger name, etc.
      That said, Belal 100% deserves a shot and has deserved one for at least 1 to 2 fights.

    Give Belal his rematch... Leon pretending not to duck Belal is pathetic.
    Belal has proved himself even willing to fight under Ramadan. He's a proven beast
    Leon almost lost to Nate Diaz last seconds in the 5th round. Leon cant use that argument against Belal
    "I won the whole first round against Belal therefor" I went from a h8er to a fan of Belal.. Real man

      I mean, he was getting beat last time, so I don't know where all of this confidence comes from.

    idk man i say leon is overall better in all areas of mma we have seen his wrestling its not bad at all.His striking is obviously insane and overall his spirit.We saw belal vs leon 1 belal got pieced up until that eye poke idk man 🤷

      But same can be said for Leon vs Usman right? Leon was getting pieced until he landed arguably the best head kick KO of all time. Watch the whole video! I feel like this fight has so much value and it needs to happen! Perhaps we can agree on how good this fight would be stylistically.

      @@GiancarloGuccionedont you think altitude played a big factor in that fight, leon absolutely smoked him r1 and was falling off after. Leon proved himself in the rematch with equal circumstances, usman trains at elevation on usman and merab did not gas bad that card.

    • @GiancarloGuccione
      @GiancarloGuccione  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@TWIZZY_RlCHit definitely plays a factor but there’s so much that plays into all of it. The only way we will know for sure is if we got the Belal vs Leon rematch. On top of it Belal only had two weeks to prep. Imagine him on a full fight camp!

      @@GiancarloGuccione thats true but i think it is too late for belal to put up a good fight against Leon hes quite old now and he fought burns that was overactive and had a crazy amount of injuries to deal with and watching the fight it seemed evident in my opinion, id side leon all dah personally

    I like Belal and I like Leon. I think Belal COULD win, but I don't think he DOES. That said, if he won the belt, I would love seeing all his haters whine endlessly.

    Belal will be 36 by the time he fights Leon, also, please point out a skill/attribute Belal has which Colby and Usman don't have? Leon smokes this type of style, Belal gets smoked by this type of style and it's been proven.

    • @PhilSophia-ox7ep
      @PhilSophia-ox7ep 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The attribute is that we have no evidence of Belal being at the end of his prime, whereas we had that with Colby and, in hindsight at least, Usman.

    • @BillyFuchs
      @BillyFuchs 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@PhilSophia-ox7ep What are you talking about? Like seriously. Usman was on a 15 fight win streak, and had 5 title defences when Leon headkick ko'd him. Colby, although he had two title fight losses against Usman, was coming off a dominant win against Jorge. There was absolutely no evidence telling us that Usman or Colby were past their primes. Belal, who will be 36 when they fight, wouldn't have fought for over a year. That's the 35 year old curse for you there, contenders aged 35 and above between bantamweight and welterweight have a record of 2-28 in title fights. And even if Belal isn't past his prime, Leon beats a prime Belal.

    • @PhilSophia-ox7ep
      @PhilSophia-ox7ep 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BillyFuchs Yes, Usman was on a winstreak which is why I said IN HINDSIGHT sunshine because, since then, he lost 3 in a row.
      A dominant win against Jorge....a washed and old vet?
      No evidence? You then list a bunch of evidence about the 35 yr old curse.

    • @BillyFuchs
      @BillyFuchs 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@PhilSophia-ox7ep Yeah since then he is past his prime because Leon ko'd him, at the time they fought, Usman was in his prime, there's no arguing that. Usman is now past his prime because Leon ko'd him, that's my point. And Colby, yeah he only beat Jorge but was he on a losing skid? No. He had only lost to Usman in the UFC in the last 9 years. And my point is, those two examples kind of prove the 35 year old curse. 35 seems to be the age at those weight divisions, where physical decline starts. I believe Usman's decline started after Leon ko'd him for two reasons, the first being because he got brutally knocked out, and the second being he was already 35 years old. For Colby, I think it was purely the 35 year old curse. So finally, what I'm saying is you don't need evidence that Belal might be on the decline, his age and the curse alone align. What do you think is gonna happen? Do you think Belal is some kind of unicorn who's exempt from the physical limitations of the human body? This is just like the Colby vs Leon fight, 35 year old fighter who hasn't fought in over a year.

    • @GiancarloGuccione
      @GiancarloGuccione  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The ability to switch it up. Also to have a different style depending on who he is fighting. Colby and Usman are well rounded but aren’t as strategic in their match ups.
