Irrespective to the crowd's not participating ways, Shania still went out and showed us "She is still the freaking one!" Incredible! I was jamming out at my desk @ work! I wish I was there!!

They were probably startled by how different she sounded than the Shania they remembered. On the first song, it sounded like someone doing a karaoke performance in a bar of “That Don’t Impress Me Much” after having a few drinks.
Crowds that can sit for hours watching a ball go from side-to-side are equally as boring as watching paint dry, but Shania got the applauses and screams at the end regardless. 🤩
I love Shania Twain and they should have been on their feet.

i am a fan ,i know everything shes been through ,But if you look at her Las Vegas show in 2014, you'll find that she sounds very different in just three years! even her scream was so different and not in a good way ...I am truly worried about her voice !!!

I have signed acoustic guitar, photo, cd, her book by Shania - I'm huge fan of Shania ❤ Looks amazing but she needs really time for using her changed voice... to find the way for right using her new voice. Shania can't to sing as before... to use same technic of her voice as before! It's not working... She is talented and I believe she can 😎 She is fantastic. I know that there is a difference in how her voice sounds now compared to before. But even if her voice is not as it once were, she still sounds decent to me in this performance and some of the other performances she has done so far to promote her recent album. She still hit the notes that her songs require. The small imperfections gives her voice a new dimension and gives an edge to her, that she did not have for me earlier on in her career. :)

In the song "Swingin' With My Eyes Closed", I think Shania Twain sounds very nice with her voiceless "S" sound (with just air coming out of her mouth) on the very first word of the song's lyrics "Summer's here, bring it on".
I think no matter what Shania is an amazing talent & with everything she's been through...get up off your asses people & sing with her!! She deserves that much!

i feel like the sound guys messed up her mic at some points it was too quiet, but besides that i loved the perfomance. also, i'm so happy she messed up the words at the end of swingin with my eyes closed cause it proves that she was actually singing it live

On all the songs, she did either sing live, a combination of live, lip synching, and singing to playback. The opening number was live. All designed to save her vocal cords and still give a great performance. She began Swingin as lip synch (listen to the identical vocals on Today Show and Jimmy Kimmel) and then sang to playback at the end. Love the girl. Hope her voice continues to hold up, because she's wunnerful.
